New York LaGuardia Airport Marriott

Great Marriott hotel, this one it’s a truly one, with all their industry standards. I choose it over other options because I was traveling with my children and didn’t want to end up in an unsafe place. I was looking for a hotel near the airport, the shuttle service was a key factor. I arrived very early so they “ hold” the luggage for us until we came back in the afternoon. The front desk service, valet all very nice. The lobby has a great atmosphere, it was a Sunday, it has a restaurant, and you can sit an relax, it’s inviting. They game a room on the 7 floor with a beautiful view of the planes and the city. Room was clean and perfect. Next day we took the shuttle which runs every 15 minutos I think, no reservation required. I’ll definitely come back. No surprise, everything that you expect to go right on a vacation, specially in a big city like New York.😊

I stayed at the hotel for just one night before flying out in the morning but was very pleased with my choice to stay there. The accommodations were excellent, the staff were exceptionally pleasant and welcoming, and I had a great breakfast that morning before I left. The location was perfect, it could not have been more convenient for my LaGuardia flight departure.

My room was directly across from the vending/ice machines which I found to be loud. If I was there longer, I would have asked to change my room. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

The front desk staff greeted me so attentively and efficiently. Set the tone positively for the rest of my only overnight stay and the service and food (the fish tacos were the bomb!) at the restaurant Ditmars makes me want to rebook again soon. My room very adequate and comfortable for a solo traveler like myself. The free shuttle service and location

There's no shuttle service from jfk to la Guardia

The location is very good for getting Uber rides in minutes.

It was a bit too far from things we wanted to do like shopping and restaurants, although you can order in and Uber is very fast from the location. For the price we paid, I expected free breakfast and was sad to learn there is no pool.

Great reception staff---a welcome place after being bumped off a flight due to weather. Delta Flight attendant recommended the hotel. Super location, food was way above average, and the breakfast buffet was exceptional.

I found it hard to get the room cool enough to suit me. The AC worked, but it struggled to keep the room at a good temperature for sleeping. If I had stayed another night, I would have requested another room.

Great lobby and restaurant is very good. They have a full bar until midnight. Free shuttle to and from airport.

The room I had had a musty smell that immediately made me sneeze.

There was a refrigerator in the room. The staff were courteous and friendly. The hotel decor in the lobby was modern and chic. The room was exceptional and comfortable, with an Awesome view of LGA. Shower felt great! Room was nice, clean, and the beds were comfortable. Hotel is in a great location with access to major highways such as Grand Central, Long Island Expressway, and Van Wych. Complimentary breakfast was good, nice variety. Great service from the restaurant staff as well.

I stayed 4 nights and had to pay for parking for the duration of my stay. The walkway from handicap parking needs sidewalk ramps, that will be easy for disabled or elderly people to access the walkway without stumbling. It is not wheelchair accessible. You have to walk around the entrance loop where all of the cars are to access the building. If the curbs leading from accessible parking had ramps it would be easy to transport a handicap person from the lot to the building. You don't want to drop off the accessible needs person at the entrance, if they are minors and/or have developmental disabilities. Wish the bedroom had a microwave.

Last minute flight cancellation, stranded by myself with no transportation, and this hotel came to my rescue…the only hotel contacted through airline help desk to actually answer and not leave me on hold, 24 hour shuttle (didn’t have to wait at all), less than five minute trip, bar and grill on site so I didn’t have to search anything out for dinner, most importantly staff was super accommodating and friendly and greeted me by name. Room was clean and well appointed. My return trip to the airport I once again didn’t have to wait for the shuttle.

There was no room service available, but that’s a pretty nit picky thing to complain about. It really did not affect me in the slightest but after the stress at the airport it would have been nice to be extra lazy. The burger was bangin’ though so highly recommend.

A nice hotel for those using LaGuardia airport. We booked one night on our way back after a long trip. The hotel is in the right spot for an early plane from LaGuardia. The hotel is nice, and the room was clean and large enough. Coffee and tea are available in the room.

It is clear that COVID19 has impacted services such as help with your luggage and the bar. But the hotel is doing what it can with the present circumstances. I am sure this will change soon and we will be back to normal, or at least, with new normality.

Location was fantastic as we had a very early flight out the next morning. The hotel shuttle bus was on time and very accommodating.

Our tea Kettle didn't work but they gave us a new one quickly as well as a Starbucks voucher.
