This was a grand finale to my honeymoon and me and my husband were blown away. I was in the crown of the pendragon tower cottage and it truly transported us to a magical castle — the upper level bath spa suite is unbelievable we spent countless hours there. The attention to detail throughout the whole castle was incredible you can feel the love and care that went into the design of every square inch. The balcony overlooking the mystical forest was so lovely and the falls and river right there take this hotel to the stratosphere. Perfection. The sauna was great too! Magic all around, so immersive and such a spark for the soul and imagination. Grateful.
Only thing is I would love to see better snack bar/ food offerings, especially vegan options too. It had standard 711 type snack offerings which didn’t fit the vibe and wasn’t inclusive at all. But everything about this place is perfect otherwise.

They have the nicest staff and a decent continental breakfast. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely view of the garden from our window. It’s definitely quirky but our room decor felt tasteful and the property was beautiful and relaxing. It was an unexpected gem - we were in town for a wedding and we’d LOVE to go back.
A hot breakfast would be a game changer, since everything else was truly wonderful! But their continental breakfast was better than most.

the breakfast was good, it was nice that they put a smiley face on our bag, it’s the little things :) the staff was extremely friendly as well. i think my favorite part was the outside seating near the fire overlooking the mountains
i wish there could have been a little more of a variety of breakfast choices but it’s understandable what you can and can’t do because of covid- i miss the breakfast layout they had before! also one morning they forgot to fill our breakfast order BUT they fixed it up for us quickly no problem.

The one staff member that kept you from a 10 was the woman who was at the counter when I checked out. She was extremely rude and came across as though I was bothering her by being there. The second is a suggestion a restaurant on the property would be nice. There are not many options in there area and the one I did eat the food was awful. I spoke with other people about the food and they also agreed the food at the other place awful and it would be nice if a restaurant was at the motel.

The hotel is stunning. Amazingly creative with themed rooms. We were there for two nights and the hotel put us in two differently themed rooms - which was great. Breakfast was ordered online and delivered in bags the following morning as an extra precaution against COVID and a booking system was in place for access to the spa facilities for which a small charge was made.
Although understandable, ( COVID) it was a pity that we couldn't get drinks around the pool area

The Roxbury is my favorite place to stay. You can stay in a real mansion, a themed cottage, or a themed motel room. We stayed in Fred's Lair which had a bedrock Flintstone theme. Being a Wizard of OZ fan, we also got The Wizard's Emerald. It was sparkly and emerald green throughout. The tiled green bathroom room floor was amazing!!! It even had a yellow brick road!!!! I cannot express the joy I felt staying there. It was simply marvelous 🙂

what was there not to enjoy. this location was a place from a fairytale, out of a dream. The rooms are breathtaking, clean, and comfortable. Every part is unique and imaginative. I am looking to take my family here in the future. This place is what dreams are made of. The staffs we polite and pleased and accommodating. The staff make you feel like you are at home.

The breakfast was good, with a good choice of options. However there was a lot of packaging that was unnecessary and not environmentally friendly, so perhaps that could be addressed. The garden was gorgeous and very lovely to spend time relaxing.
My friends were staying in a same-sized room to mine. Whilst mine was perfectly adequate for one person, it was a bit small for them as they had two suitcases, but very little room for them both.

The service was amazing! A helpful hand and smiling faces wherever we went. The breakfast was simple and satisfactory. If you're not familiar with the area, don't fret. Many helpful suggestions enhanced our stay. With covid restrictions, this hotel is doing its best to keep guests safe and make sure they enjoy their stay.
For motel north guests, it would be nice if breakfast pick-up was more convenient.

The breakfast was good. Location was good. Very private I liked all the funky furniture and fire pit outside. It was nice to be near the water too. Kelly was a sweetheart. While we were sitting outside she came to the fire pit and sanitized the area and talked with us about the area.
I would have like to see more selections to eat and shop a little. I think someday it would be nice to see a bar/restaurant part of your facilities. I know it's still new and that will take time.
