Super 8 by Wyndham Cobleskill NY

Location is right on the Main Street. Very easy to get to restaurants and Howe Cavernsand Secret Caverns ( only minutes away by car)x Room was immaculate. Bed was very comfortable.

Surprised to find no elevator on the property so had to lug our suitcases up a flight of stairs. Our room had two tiny garbage cans that were not at all sufficient for an adult and two kids. Motel listed a free breakfast but honestly I didn’t see anything out. Maybe there were packaged foods in a cooler? We just ended up going across the street to Dunkin Donuts.

Everything was fine: The staff was friendly. It was clean. Rooms were spacious. Beds were comfortable. Recycling bin was provided. The motel is right off the highway. There are some nice food options around (two minute drive).

Extended breakfast hours would be greatly appreciated. Breakfast was only until 9am, which my family can’t make when on vacation. Sustainability of toiletries could be improved by moving from small bottles to big refillable containers.

If you’re in the area 100% consider this hotel as an option and then book it without hesitation. I admit I was hesitant staying in a super 8 hotel because I envisioned it as a less than par low quality hotel. I was 1000000% wrong: the room was large, the hotel was quiet, the rooms were spotless/ slightly dated but cleanliness was unmatched. If you want a place where you feel safe and don’t have to worry about where you rest your head then 100% this is the hotel for you. 100% will stay again

I liked the bright lighting inside the main lobby/front desk area. I enjoyed seeing people at the pool table, hearing and seeing children about, and even the couple of dogs barking. It's nice to know this motel offers pet owners accommodations for their pets. My room was clean and that little coffee maker was the best!

The box of tissues in the bathroom. Felt like cardboard. Maybe switch to a softer brand.

A very nice motel for the night with very friendly and helpful staff. Basic but perfectly good continental breakfast. Room a little musty and floor could have been a little cleaner but overall a great choice for a short stop.

The staff was excellent. The room was great, as well. It was clean and we loved the sitting area.

The bathroom needs repairs. The toilet did not flush properly and the sink was cracked and tended to back up. Also, the day after our first night the housekeeping staff failed to come in and clean our room. They claimed we had a Do Not Disturb sign on our door, but we did not.

Kinda far from the restaurants, apparently they don't have a backup generator because we lost power along with the town after a night of storms.

The light in the entry was on the same switch as many of the wall outlets. Since we needed the wall outlets for CPAP machine, we had to try to sleep with that light on.

OK breakfast, included a hard boiled egg. (I need my protein for breakfast). Plenty of pillows and towels. Very clean. Flavored coffee for the room small coffee pot.

The price was more than I wanted to spend for 2 nights. The Continental Breakfast only had 2 varieties of yogurts: peach and strawberry (my least two favorites).

It was perfect for us. This was by far the nicest place we have ever stayed with out dog. The room was big and easily accessible. The place was close to a cute little town . The food at the local diner was also very good.
