Super 8 by Wyndham Oneonta/Cooperstown

It was perfect for me. A place to sleep and take a shower. I never need fancy! Nice and clean.

Only thing is minor. Really minor lol. Charging plugs needed in rooms for phones. I luckily brought one with me!

The breakfast was barely that, however there are tons of food spots around the area so it didn't matter.

Everything was fantastic, to be honest. From the manager Brittney to the general cleanliness of the rooms, everything was beyond my expectation given the price I paid. It was extremely quiet too, which I loved.

Considering the other Super 8 we stayed at, this one was definitely superior . . . and superior to most of the other motels we used during our trip. Everything was very clean. Everything worked. There was a note on the desk asking us to tell the front desk if any part of the room needed maintenance. That was the first motel in which I've seen such a note. The lights were bright enough. There were enough electrical plugs. The shower was comfortably warm. The beds were clean and comfortable. The clock was plugged in and set to the correct time. I would stay there again and recommend it to others.

Booked here last minute because we left The Clarion right after check in due to safety issues and poor facilities. So glad they had availability here and I was able to try this place out as we have never previously tried this chain. This hotel was super clean and had wood tile flooring throughout. Bed was comfy and clean as was the bathroom and shower. The hotel is basic but updated and again …..clean. It is across the street from the main shopping area and tons of places to eat. Front desk manager, Linda, was so helpful and very sweet, rebooked for a future stay.

Only here for a short stay to find any negatives. Possibly the free “continental breakfast” options could be varied. I didn’t check it out but my husband mentioned muffins and maybe yogurt…can a girl get a hard boiled egg with her cont. breakfast ? Anyway doesn’t matter , there is a Denny’s right next to the hotel .

We arrived early before check-in and hubby hadn't indicated we were traveling with our dog. The lady at the front desk was so nice and friendly. Made a quick change to our room and explained everything to us especially areas were we could walk our dog, which was very spacious. She even gave us towels to put under his bowls so he didn't make a mess. Room was clean and comfy. Liked the fact that it had simulated wood floors instead of carpet that tends to make a room feel dirty. Great location with many options for dinner and breakfast.

no elevator. was there for a week and we had to lug a lot of stuff up the stairs. also there was an issue with my kids stay at Cooperstown but they would not allow me to switch my room for 1 night when I had already paid. they wanted to charge me for another night just because I needed a double bed.

Breakfast was what was expected. Coffee, oatmeal, prepackaged muffins and juices. They were fine.

The people upstairs from us were up very late with lots of running around footsteps heard. The shower didnt drain well and there was a foot of water by the end of taking showernice

My room was big, well-stocked with what I needed, and the staff kept the room very clean throughout my entire one-week stay.

The hallway and lobby could use some new carpet.

Staff was very professional and customer service orientated. Overall good experience. There was good access to eats and it was close to be able to jump on Interstate for excursions as well.

Nothing in particular comes to mind that I didn't like. I do feel the property would benefit from a little parking lot makeover more cosmetically than anything.

I would stay there again. Quiet and nicely maintained. The rear facing rooms has some freeway noise but there is a woods to offset that. Easy freeway access.

The breakfast could best described as spartan. The entrance to the lobby is not obvious, it's to the left of where you would expect to be the main entrance to be. A closer look and a door has a lobby sign on it.
