Hampton Inn & Suites Rochester/Victor

Starting with the two lovely women at the front desk and a very warm reception - we loved it. The large lobby with chunky wooden furniture and hospitality was great as well. We found parking easily and the hotel is set well back from the highway so private and quiet. The room was comfy and very comfy beds and pillows and linens. Also a good desk with plenty of hookups etc. The window looked inward to a courtyard which was fine. A quiet and strong AC kept the room cool on this very hot summer day. Bathroom and amenities also fine. Breakfast was OK - I have had better. Will stay here again.

Overall loved it - breakfast was so so - not the staff - the woman was lovely - but the food was below what I am used to from other similar "breakfast included" hotels. Watery "scrambled eggs" - I prefer when there are omelettes - and slices sausage that was a bit too greasy.

We were assigned handicapped room--in bath only 1 tiny cheap sink and 16x16 table. No sink counter as usual. Only 1 chair (desk chair) in room & hotel refused to get 2nd chair. Even for handicspped person, room would be bad! Tiny sink crammed against wall; wheelchair would not fit close. No shower; have to climb into tub. Door's tight spring would have made it impossible for handcapped person to open it or not get caught in it.

The property had everything we needed for a weeks stay. The breakfast was wonderful, the outside courtyard was beautiful and a wonderful place to sit, enjoy a meal or just get fresh air. The gym had two Peleton bikes (among other equipment) which was a great surprise and the lobby was stocked with many things like food, desserts, medicine, etc. The beds were comfortable and the fridge and microwave and long counter with sitting area were so convenient. The staff was always busy making sure everything was wonderful- always fresh breakfast choices no matter the time, cleaning tables and the courtyard. They thought of and are on top of everything here! Wonderful experience.

The bathroom could use a makeover and the windows don’t open so a long stay without fresh air in room was tricky, but we simply propped open the door each day for a bit and the hallways always smelled great!

I was pleased with everything about the place. The food was delicious, well-stocked and replenished promptly. It was like everything used to be pre-covid. The creamer I like wasn't out. The lady who helped me showed me it that the box wasn't there, so she didn't have any. I understood. She did not stop looking and leave it. She went to another storage place and found another box and was able to put out the creamer I preferred. She didn't have to do that, but this is they type of help they have. The room was nice and clean. I was near the pool entrance, like I requested. The pool is down it's own hallway, so it was pretty quiet. There were a lot of gynmasts staying here for the State competition, but it was quiete. The breakfast/lounge space was beautiful. The fireplace really added to the ambiance of the room. It was well lit and clean. They had sanitizing/cleaning wipes out on a shelf if you felt the need to use one. The reception workers were pleasant and polite. I really was impressed with everything about this Hampton Inn. Thank you!!

The pool was actually heated like it said,jacuzzi actually hot..just what I needed....opens at 6 was wonderful for being less people for grown ups...breakfast was wonderful..rooms are sooo clean..staff is so wonderful met at the front desk w a delightful girl,,not so much leaving,,wasn't in a good mood..but everyone's aloud a bad day..loved parking near our room was easier carrying stuff in and out...will be back 😀

it was a great location, everything is close by yet the setting is among trees and away from traffic and street noise. ample parking. the room was very clean, beds were comfortable and the accommodations were superb. great breakfast that is free. we sat courtyard which is beautiful. There is also a beautiful pool and weight room. The counter person Lili was a wonderful hostess and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. She deserves cudo’s for her kindness and empathy. she cares and it shows.

It smelled like old sneakers were in our room. it could have been the AC or something in the rug. I told Lili and she gave us a discount upon checkout.

The staff were very nice about handling a problem with our room - it was "not as advertised" and lacked a couch. Our second night they moved us to a larger room which exceeded what we had reserved, and also gave us a credit on our invoice for the inconvenience.

Noisy heaters, and our first room lacked any counter surface or tables in the bathroom, so there was literally no place to set down your toilet kit, even.

I was unsure of what to expect given the location right off the main drive in Victor, but this hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was truly wonderful, and even though they were wearing masks you could tell they were smiling. (We checked in around 4:30pm on 2/11/22, so thank you to the two girls and one guy at the checkin area, so so kind and helpful) Our daughter wanted to head right for the pool, and the whole entire pool room was clean. There weren’t clumps of hair in or around the pool, and the water was a nice temperature. The hot tub was also great. Our room itself was very cozy and the beds/pillows were great. The only thing I could’ve asked for or would critique on was the lack of a mini fridge in the rooms, as we are used to having them when we travel. Overall, we loved it here. Will definitely be back!

A very well positioned hotel if you have a car. Spacious, relatively clean rooms, quiet in the hotel and surroundings, friendly staff.

The rooms are not cleaned every day, towels are not changed, the trash is not picked up. Very poor breakfast. Also I do not understand why the hotels in this area are so dark (not enough lights into the room).

All of the staff interactions were excellent. Professional and friendly.

There was no cable tv connection for the entire hotel. Front desk was barraged with phone calls from guests, with no explanation as to why this was happening. At checkout, staff told me it happens a lot during inclement weather. You need to get a better cable connection. Also, as a lone driver, tired and not wanting to go out to find dinner, I found a ramen cup of soup in the lobby snack store but no ceramic cups available anywhere to heat the water. Can’t microwave in paper cup. At least give guests a way to heat up things they buy at the hotel.
