Hampton Inn & Suites By Hilton Southport

Extremely clean and well kept. Love the beach decor. Breakfast was good. Staff was nice. Check in and out was fast. Rooms were well stocked with towels and essentials. I love the bath products and lotion. The location of the hotel was in between Oak Island and Southport Beach.

The mattress was a little hard for me but hubby liked it just fine. The entrance to the hotel needs a traffic light. Extremely difficult to get in and out of, to the main road.

Gabrielle from the front desk was awesome. We got there early on the first day and our room wasn't ready yet ( no fault to the hotel) and Gabrielle told me she would call as soon as the room was ready and she did, I believe that is going beyond her normal duties. The breakfast was also very good both days we used the breakfast feature.

Friendly, helpful and professional staff, especially I mentioned Gabrielle previously, and the breakfast.

We have stayed at HI&S over and over. What I really appreciated about the Southport location was the decorations for fall/Halloween. it actually made me feel at home. We had just come from another location that hadn’t decorated at all. The staff provided a print list of restaurants by type of food and their location.

The only thing, which seems to be standard at all, that I didn’t like was the location of the laundry facilities. One on every floor would be amazing.

The guy at the recession stand didnt check to see if I've payed for the hotel and after I told him I did he charged me twice so I had to contact booking.com to get my money back.

it was absolutely clean and brand new! The breakfast was wonderful, can’t say enough good things about the cleanliness, comfortable bed and great breakfast.

The walls are thin, and we had someone next to us who may have been on their honeymoon… If you know what I mean… So we did hear their jubilations which was awkward

Breakfast was probably what rated lowest on the list, but it was more because we are really watching our weight, and there was not much allowed on our low carb diet. There was a decent amount of choices if you had no restrictions, considering the continuing Covid concerns. I also felt the quality was better than I have seen on most breakfast bars.

Everything was great. The staff was lovely and very accommodating. The cleaning staff did an excellent job cleaning rooms before check in, and the common areas were always clean. I really like the new window treatments. Being one who has trouble staying asleep once the sun comes up, the new treatments really keep the room dark, which enhances sleep. Probably my only complaint was that I felt the trash cans in the room were too small, and with the tied bags in them, there was not much room, but hardly much of an issue.

The Hampton Inn & Suites in Southport NC was such a great price and one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed. The staff was so polite and helpful. The breakfast was such a nice addition included in the price of the room. I would rate my stay as a 10 Definitely will be sharing my experience at The Hampton Inn and Suits with friends, so they can enjoy their stay in Southport NC like I did!

In room needs more lightening. Also went online to schedule our stay. When we got there ask if you honored ARP. Was told could not use since booked online. I never saw anything about ARP discounts or any other discount that you may offer. We pay for ARP because being 72 years old any discounts would help.

No fan in bathroom and bathroom door was not very private. Bathroom and closet door were a combo. Not a fan of that design feature

Breakfast was great, location was great for where I was visiting. Staff was very friendly and informative.

When it rained I could clearly hear what sounded like water going down the downspout. The harder it rained, the louder the noise.
