Residence Inn by Marriott Charlotte Steele Creek

The room was amazing. We had a beautiful view of the the Queen City. The location was ideal, we were in close proximity to several convenience stores, restaurants, pharmacies as well as grocery stores. You could see the outlets from the window. The hotel had a great layout. The lobby offered: a relax and play section that had huge Jenga & Connect 4 games, televisions, quiet sitting area, and a quick escape to the pool area. I didn't get the opportunity to visit the pool but other guests were thoroughly enjoying the pool, grill and cornhole.

I honestly have no complaints about this hotel. Everyone was helpful and polite. Hopefully everyone will give you the same ratings without any complaints!

The room was spacious, and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and I loved having the full size fridge and breakfast bar area for eating. The television even greeted me by name! The hotel staff was very friendly and professional as well. I'm from NC (East Coast) and we actually traveled to Charlotte from Georgia, just so I could have Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q for my 50th birthday. So talk about convenience! The hotel was right next door to SCNB! LOVED IT! We also visited the NASCAR Hall of Fame while we were there, which was downtown, just a few minutes away. Good times!

The most disappointing thing was how loud the A/C fan was. It seems that the beds are up against the exact area of the room where the fans roar when their blowing air. But, I'm a light sleeper, so that was unfortunate for me, my son was fine. At least we couldn't hear outside or hallway noises, so that was a plus. The coffee in the room was less than desirable and it would have been extra nice to have Splenda as a sugar alternative instead of the yucky pink packets. There wasn't an exhaust fan in the bathroom, so it would have been nice to have that as well ...... or a candle (ha ha!).

The rooms and cleanliness were excellent

Breakfast ended relatively early and $100 non-refundable pet fee for one night with no incidents is a bit extreme. It is totally understandable to charge if issues arise but the value is there for one night. Unfortunately, I won’t be back for that reason.

breakfast was terrible. Hot items were over done and limited at 8:00 AM.

The breakfast was great. Waffles, bacon, eggs, and really great muffins.

The price was $180 a night after taxes so you get what you pay for.

This hotel is always clean. The beds are always comfortable. This is a very nice hotel.

Location is very good. Close to food and gas. Staff very friendly.

No breakfast. I know Covid is the issue, but I've stayed at much smaller/cheaper places during the virus and they had at least more to chose from. For the price of these rooms, I'd think they would make more of an effort. Also, the grounds around the hotel is basically an ashtray. Cig butts EVERYWHERE...disgusting.

Location was ideal for our reason for staying there.

There was a huge hornets nest outside the backdoor entrance.

The rooms were very clean. The location was great, very close to the outlets. I would definitely stay here again.

I have no complaints.
