Embassy Suites Charlotte/Ayrsley

The breakfast was beyond satisfying. I was the best I have had it was 10+++++!!!

The only thing that could have been better is not allowing children any kind of adult look alike beverages from the open bar. I think a child should not be allowed anything from the open bar but other than that it was absolutely perfect. I just think a childs age should be accommodated with only things suitable for a child. They shouldn't grow up to quickly. There was no alcohol of course but that gives lead way for a child to explore in adult activities.

The room type was not what I requested when I made the reservation for three nights. I requested a regular corner room, but was given an accessible room. The room windows faced a roof top which had numerous air condition units and other HVAC systems that were somewhat noisy. I was told that the hotel was sold out and that my booking was through a third party. This information was quite disturbing because I am a Hilton Silver member and have never made a reservation through a third party. I always make direct calls through the Embassy number. If the reservation contact who answered the call was a third party, I should have been informed of it at that time. The breakfast was good each morning. However, no snacks were provided during the evening reception times and the restaurant closed around 5:30pm on Saturday evening because the hotel was out of food. In addition, getting face cloths and towels became a challenge after the first day. Nevertheless. I rate the hotel as very good overall because the room and areas my husband and I occupied during our stay were very clean and maintained.

I did not like being assigned to a room that I did not request and over a roof. Other concerns are noted in the afore noted comment.

The lady at the front desk was very friendly , sweet to my kiddos and helped us find a room on a lower floor as my 2 year old was afraid of the elevator . Breakfast was amazing and we enjoyed our stay .

Pool smelled of chlorine - a lot of it . Snacks at happy hour were ok but nice they offered happy hour at all so really can’t complain .

Everything was great. I so appreciated Tia at check in! What a fabulous personality and so helpful in recommending places to eat. She is a wonderful asset!

I generally enjoy staying at Embassy Suites because of the breakfast buffet, but it was just okay. I didn't even eat there the second morning.

Love the happy hour. Drink selections was favorable. The room was clean, spacious and accommodating. the hotel price was fair..

The food selection was a lot. However the potatoes was not good. I was disappointed. The potatoes was dried. Tooo many in the warmer and got dried out. Otherwise... Excellent food. LOVE the bacon. OMG.. excellent bacon..

The location was perfect! The staff was the best especially the bartender! Loved the air scent throughout the lobby!

Parking was very tight. Only one staff member available for the cocktail hour. She was was handing the to go orders for the restaurant and taking care of the bar. She was doing her best and working as fast as she could but had no help for a very very long line. We left for dinner and came back to see the line still long. She needed an extra hand at the bar.

Check in was smooth front desk staff very nice and pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable

The breakfast was ok but I'm used to getting cooked to order omelettes but not available at this particular property. I did not like the fact there was a 2 drink minimum for the manager's reception at this property. Usually at the Embassy there is no minimum and some kind of appetizers . We were offered a smack size bag of trail mix.

Staff members were very friendly. The lady behind the bar was working incredibly hard by herself and was obviously swamped but did incredible and kept a positive attitude

Charged $50 per night for Incidentals that weren't used. This fee was not communicated to me when the reservation was made. Due to this charge, I will not stay here again unless it is absolutely necessary.

Staff was very warm and inviting. The room was very clean and entire property was very clean. Staff happily fulfilled any requests and answered all questions.

I have no complaints.
