Rodeway Inn and Suites on the River

The location was fabulous. My husband retired from the Army and we recently relocated to Franklin, NC. This was a great location because we stayed in Cherokee to go tubing with our daughter, grab dinner and a movie and not have to drive Needmore Rd at night. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the hotel was quiet at night and we even saw an elk walk passed while sitting on the balcony at night. It was a perfect little "staycation" for the holiday weekend. Thank you.

Awesome views from our private balcony. This was our second stay at this hotel within 5 months. It’s always easy to get a room when we plan ahead a month or so. It’s very quiet for it’s close proximity to all the fun of Cherokee. We got a smoking room this stay and it was odorless! Just wanted to know the difference as we don’t smoke. This is a huge room for the price! Probably the best you can get. We also had new appliances in our room including a digital mini-fridge.

Wish our stay could have been longer! We hate to leave! Nothing bad to say really. Home away from home!

Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Balcony with view down to the river below was very nice. Motel is close to attractions but not close enough for noise and traffic problems. It was easy to check in and check out of the room.

Room 152 had some problems with the sinks. The entry way sink had a broken stopper that would not drain. The bathroom sink only had cold water.

The lady the front desk 2nd day we stayed we got an room with fridge and Microwave.she was really good to us and was very comfy.

The first night iv stayed here for over 5 years every year . The room I paid one hundred and fourty five . There wasn't fridge or microwave tub w bugs . We lost a lot of food but the second night made up for it .

Great hotel right by the most beautiful river, clean rooms and very comfy beds.

There was no mini fridge or microwave in the room.

The main and most important was the staff. They went above and beyond for me. I very much enjoyed the room. It was extremely clean and comfortable. I will stay there again when I am in the area. I have already recommended a stay there to my friends and family.

There was nothing I didn't like. The complete stay was very enjoyable.

Very spacious room, with dining and seating area. Balcony with lovely view over the river. Microwave and fridge provided. Beds very comfortable and room clean. Even next to busy road, it was surprisingly quiet.

A bit shabby, but end of season so understandable.

Location and cleanliness

I was informed at check-in that all smoking rooms were on the second floor. Myself and all that were with me me were senior citizens who had difficulty climbing stairs. It would be nice if you had smoking rooms on the ground floor to accommodate the elderly and physically challenged. Had I known prior to booking, I probably wouldn’t have stayed.

The staff was nice, the room was spacious and clean. I loved the balcony, and looking at the river. I just loved everything about the hotel. I will be back to stay again.

It’s a motel but a lovely one. You have everything you need for a nice stay. Love the Cleanliness and how comfortable the beds are. We love the layout of the room as there is a sitting area and balcony overlooking a river. We stay here every time we visit the area.

It’s not that we don’t like the breakfast. It is actually really nice and the staff are very nice. Unfortunately right now during covid the breakfast room is closed.
