The StateView Hotel, Autograph Collection

The staff was friendly and accommodating. I requested an early check in so I could decorate the room (it was my partner’s birthday) and they were so helpful. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and aesthetically cool.

The water pressure of the shower was really low. I’m not sure if it was only in my room but that’d definitely be something to fix. Parking, while I loved that it was free, was hard to do later in the day as well.

the hotel is confortable, nicely decorated, rooms are spacious and bathroom with modern showers which is a plus for us because we don’t like all style bath tub. Location is in a beautiful green campus area and closed to city centre.

staff not particularly helpful, at the restaurant during the breakfast very rude an unprofessional. the restaurant is clearly understaffed but that’s not the client’s fault!

Breakfast included with our conference and it was wonderful, all the food was great! Rooms clean and nice. No complaints on anything really. View was beautiful, and facilities amazing would stay again accept location was not the best for getting around Raleigh.

Price in restaurant seemed very high for what it was, a cup of coffee $6 for just a regular Folgers type coffee. And location was a little inconvenient but nice and quiet and very beautiful setting.

Beautiful hotel, pool was great with a lovely view of the lake. We ate in the hotel once and it was delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful when requests were made. Location can't be beat for a parent of NCSU.

My only real criticism is that we stayed for three nights and the room was never serviced. I understand they were short on staff, so totally get that, but they need to manage the guests expectations. If they were not going to be able to service the room, tell me upon check-in. I would have been fine with it so long as I knew in advance. And if I ask for it to be serviced, don't tell me "we had 130 plus rooms to turn over last night." Um, you're a hotel, isn't that your job? That response just didn't fly with me. Aside from this, everything was excellent and I would recommend and stay again.

The staff was very friendly and great to deal with. The location was very convenient for our needs and close to the highway. The facility was up to date and clean. The room was perfect for our needs and the property was well kept. The food at the restaurant was good.

I felt the food prices were just a little above where they should be but being on the property was convenient so I suppose it’s a trade off. Our shampoo was also empty but again, not a huge issue. Check in was a little slow but they had multiple events going on during our stay at the hotel and in the area so there was a large number of check ins when we got there. As you can see I’m searching hard for any real negatives. I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying again if I’m the area.

We liked how it was a little hidden from everything from everything and it was kind of quiet we could get away from everything.

The only thing that we didn't like was that when we arrived which was in the evening about 6 o'clock the customer service people that were there We're very very disrespectful disrespectful they left a very bad impression. However ..DAME..and jarred... 2 later evening employees really turned it around for us they were they really were something else very respectful very helpful and it really changed the outlook on our stay.

Breakfast was a simple but substantial ala carte menu. Quality and taste of food was good. The pancakes we ordered were a huge serving, more than enough for 1 person.

We were on a road trip and dropped by to rest for a night. Didn't explore much. So we can't find something we didn't like.

Great location, beautiful property, very clean.

I stayed on the second floor and the hallway felt like an absolute sauna. Room thermostat wouldn’t go below 68 (which is normally fine for energy efficiency), so it couldn’t keep up with the surrounding heat. It was very hot outside but my room never did feel cool over a 3-day span. It made sleeping and relaxing very difficult.

The location, in the green and lush area, close to a beeautiful lake, the resort is nice, a backyard + pool area very useful especially when you have kids.

When got there at the hotel at 7PM, the room wasn't ready yet, we had to wait for like 30 to 45 min to have the room ready... what if we woukld arrived at 3 or 4PM ?? I would understand that they're out of staff due to the COVID or whatever but still, That's not acceptable.. Fortunately we had complementary cocktails, glass of Wine and breakfast..:)

It was feeling good friendly for all staffs.

I think there is a massive gap of staff's service level at the restaurant. The shower is an embarrassment because water pressure was low.
