The Casso, Raleigh, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The hotel and the room were all beautifully updated. The bed was comfy and pillows were great.That location is OK, it is a short scooter ride to most restaurants and bars. The bar right across the street was very nice. We sat outside on a beautiful evening to have a drink. We were pleasantly surprised that rally was such a beautiful and clean city and can’t wait to go back! Great restaurants from our stay included the Morning Times, the Big Easy, Taverna Agora and Parkside Restaurant. The Red Hat amphitheater was truly amazing.

There is no closet in the room but the room is a pretty good overall size. Our coffee machine was broken but the staff quickly came to the rescue with a new machine and more coffee for us. Also we would’ve liked to open a window in the room but windows do not open.

The decor and fittings are wonderful. It is clearly either brand new or recently fully renovated. Spotless, and nothing even slightly in disrepair. I also loved that they had a steamer rather than an iron!

The shape of the room was a little odd, making it hard to maneuver through. Because the room was small and irregularly shaped and with no closet, I ended up having to open my suitcase right next to my bed which meant it was kinda always in the way. The style of the "closet" area is really cute, but not super functional.

Raleigh is a beautiful, walkable city. You'll pay a little more to reach it from the Casso, but I found it worthwhile. A perfect place to start the day and end it. Great service, fantastic food, Goldilocks bed. The front desk is very helpful as well.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The on-site parking was a bit confusing, perhaps only to me, but they were very helpful about making sure I understood. The bar area was great in the evening and the breakfast nook was perfect and delicious the next morning. The decor is fun and kitschy and the bed was like sleeping on a marshmallow cloud. Would definitely return and stay again!

Beautiful room, super helpful staff with good suggestions, ease of access to city, comfortable bed, great television, luxurious bathroom.

We were asked if we wanted room service to clean lur room after the first night stay and we said yes. Unfortunately room service arrived at 8:30am the next morning, while we were still in bed. The service was not useful.

Tons of little details, super cute. My favorite was the squirrel statue by the elevator and the bar. The staff is really friendly, helpful and will go the extra mile to assist their guests. Some of the staff are bilingual, Spanish/English, what it can makes the time you spend at this property even more comfortable and relaxed for some customers.

Doug at the front desk was outstanding! He made us feel like we were old friends while maintaining professionalism. He was courteous and helpful.

The restaurant could use more options.

Mattress and bedding were very nice and comfortable. The room was nicely decorated. Parking was convenient and reasonably priced.

Soundproofing wasn’t very good. We were able to hear normal level voices from an adjacent (upstairs?) room.

The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, the decor was modern and not carpeted (which is preferred), everyone was extremely friendly, we were able to have our dog, good location, parking was easy, and we had a fabulous meal and outstanding service at the restaurant.

King room was a little small, but fine for our needs. Nothing needs improvement; everything was wonderful.

Incredible staff!!! They are top Notch and went above and beyond to make this stay exceptional. Keep it up!!!

Parking needs to get addressed ans I know that is under way. Other than that it is a great hotel with an exceptional staff.
