Astoria Extended Stay & Event Center

The room was amazing and not just for the price. I was very pleased when I opened my door and saw how nice the room was and how much it had to offer. You can really tell they have gone above and beyond to provide as much as possible in a room at a low price.

The suite I booked was fantastic—same cost as a regular hotel room locally but included a full kitchenette (including a dishwasher). It was more like an upscale efficiency apartment. Full-size refrigerator, etc. Clearly this is a place where people book for long-term stays (probably associated w/the oil industry). There's a big pool and it's close to the museum center, shopping, etc.

The room itself was in great shape, but the halls were pretty trashed—I'm guessing long-term people put their garbage out for collection, but for as nice a place as it was, the floors needed vacuuming, etc.

They are remodeling and it is really going to be lovely. The good in the bar was very good and the free drink coupon entice us in. The staff is super nice. The remodeled pool and hot tub felt wonderful after a long day in the car. And finally, our dog was welcomed without difficulty and only a $20 extra charge, which kept the total code still under others in the area.

Breakfast was a bit underwhelming, but adequate.

it was almost comical. the faucet in the bathroom had a motion sensor. so I woke up several times to go to the bathroom. when I turned the light on the faucet would go off. the funny part is that it would go on and off like 6-7 times throughout my entire pee. I HAD to say something about it. I don’t know if it was defective or what. Do they all do that??!

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is great. 4 combo choices that include eggs, breakfast meat (ham, bacon, or sausage), toast, fruit, juice or coffee, pancakes, and hash browns. Like most companies, they are struggling in finding employees. Consequently, the rooms are only cleaned when you leave. They provide any necessities, like clean towels or toilet paper, when asked with a smile. Nice pool and exercise area.

Halls were clean when we arrived, could have used a vacuum by end of the week.

The gentleman that checked us in was very nice and easy to work with. Our room was clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and sheets were soft. We typically stay in $600+/ night rooms, but we’re traveling through SD with our puppy and needed a rest. This was a good choice. We would stay here again.

The restaurant/ bar was closed due to staffing shortages. Not unlike many other businesses right now, thanks to the lazy people on the couch that are unwilling to work.

Breakfast was great once we figured out where to go. No one told us it was in the dining room. More communication is needed. Also, no coffee or liquid creamer available for guests!???

Lack of coffee and creamer available. Poor shower pressure in our room! Noise automatic/motion detecting style bathroom sink that does not work correctly. It runs for a minute after your finished washing your hands resulting in wasting lots of water! Seriously, put a regular faucet in the bathrooms!

This hotel is beautiful and quite spacious. Our room was clean and comfortable and my family enjoyed the pool and hot tub. There was a variety of food to choose from at breakfast. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This hotel is also very reasonably priced!

This is a very clean hotel.

There were several folks milling about outside, perhaps smoking and drinking. In the morning, the outside trash cans were overflowing. Although the hotel is used for extended stay and work crews, it is very well managed.
