TownePlace Suites by Marriott Dickinson

The 1 bedroom kitchen suite was nice to have since my toddler goes to bed so early. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were exceptionally friendly and conversational, especially the breakfast hostesses. The front desk staff helped find some pots and pans to better suit our kitchen needs than what was in our room. The water in the pool was nice and warm.

The breakfast on the second day was a little weak. They had individually packaged waffles, but no toaster or microwave set out to heat them up. The pool was also empty of pool towels, and didn't get restocked after we asked. However there was a full house with some sports teams for our first night so maybe they were just behind on laundry.

Nice Refrigerator & other appliances. We’ve able to prepare our cottage cheese salad that night to take to our family reunion the following morning. The bed is comfy. The room is nice & clean. Good location of the hotel. It’s easy to find

The pillow are so soft . We need to use our own pillows. The television is not working. We end up using our iPad & cel phones to watch movies. We’ve got our room in the 2nd floor. We heard all the noise came from 1st floor & 3rd floor. That was so disturbing & annoying. Needs to be addressed.

Location was perfect for our visit to TRNP. Rate was surprisingly reasonable, $118/night. Loved the suite with a kitchen and used it to prepare suppers and lunches for your 3 night stay in the area. The breakfast choices were nice, especially like the frittatas and the choices of milk. When I needed stamps for postcards to my grans the front desk sold me a pac of 20 and took the cards for mailing - great! I recommended the TownePlace Suites on FB

Entry was alittle awkward on a slope but not a big problem.

good location, clean property, and great staff

we got the last room, and it was the handicap room. I understand that they have to put all of the equipment in the shower, however when the equipment for handrails impede the showerhead selection that’s not very convenient for handicap. Also, the detachable showerhead did not sit on its mount correctly.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the Theodore Roosevelt National Park a little over half an hour away, and were completely satisfied. The King Suite room included a kitchenette with full-size refrigerator with freezer, and was clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. As with all the other motels we stayed in on this trip (August 2021), they were short-handed, and lacking in some of the amenities you might expect such as little bars of soap in the bathroom (liquid soap was provided as an alternative). The laundry room was large with several each washers and dryers. f you are thinking of visiting the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, definitely stay in Dickinson rather than Medora; Dickenson is a real town with restaurants, grocery stores, etc. while Medora is just a tourist stop.

I traveled to the Theodore Roosevelt National Park from this location - both the North and South portions. This hotel made the entire two night stay convenient and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating in suggesting nearby restaurants, providing information on hours of operations, cuisine and proximity to the hotel. The cable TV service to my room malfunctioned and the staff did everything possible, almost instantly, to correct the defect.

Obviously, consistent TV service would have been nice.

very clean, and new. staff were friendly and helpful. loved the room with a fully equipped kitchen, fridge, plates, cups and utensils. such a comfortable bed and sofa. the bathroom was sparkling clean and had a very comfortable shower and bathtub.

there was a mirror in the back of the bathroom door that wasn’t very safe because it could touch the handle of the closet in the bathroom.

Staff was great. Jennifer at front desk very nice friendly and found time to visit with you. Buffet breakfast was awesome, didn’t get the lady’s name but she made sure you had everything you need. Definitely will be staying here again.

The location was perfect, it was right near everything that I needed to be in Dickinson for and conveniently placed to easily be found from the interstate.

Parking lot didn't have a convenient place to pull up to during check in and check out times.

Great location near Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Great compact room with a sitting area, a work space with a desk including USB ports, small stocked kitchen with a full small refrigerator and a nice bathroom. Nice touch to include dish soap/dishwasher detergent and dish cloths.

The only issue was the kitchenware (dishes, silverware, etc.) and kitchen cabinets needed a through cleaning.
