Ohio University Inn and Conference Center

The front desk clerk, Paula, was very polite, very helpful, and professional! The room was nice. We brought our dog with us and therefore stayed in a designated room for people traveling with pets. The room was clean and did not smell. The place was over all very nice!

The pool had not yet opened for the spring and it would have been nice had they had a jacuzzi. I went to the bar to get a Starbucks coffee around noon and the barrista was no longer there. The bartender informed me that she did not know how to make the speciality drinks but could make a few coffee drinks. She gave it her best but it would be nice to have a barrista present.

Good sized room. On site dining was very good. Pool and patio area were gorgeous (didn't get to use due to rain). Lobby was well appointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very close to Ohio University campus.

Bathroom was small - toilet very close to sink to the point you could rest your elbow while sitting. Bed was a little more firm than we prefer. The 2nd floor room had some strange stair configurations that had us riding the elevator up and then walking down six stairs to get to our room. Unsure if other areas of the hotel are more accessible. While technically walkable to OU campus, there is a very busy roundabout to navigate that encouraged us to drive over instead.

The staff was great, facilities were beautiful, and the restaurant was very good. We also loved sitting on the patio area.

The shower wasn’t entirely clean and the sink didn’t drain properly. The pipes underneath were taped together. The vending machines were not in working order. My flatbread pizza was extremely burned on the last night which was disappointing.

Allowed early check-in and facilitated extended checkout to accommodate wife's convention schedule. Staff, including waitstaff in restaurant, were exceptional. Positive, efficient, friendly, helpful. One of the finest spots I've stayed in my 60 years of traveling. Entire property performs well above its three-star rating.

We stayed during Commencement weekend so of course that was a stroke of good luck since hotels are difficult to get on special weekends in Athens. We stayed in C building 1st floor which is at the back of the property. Room was clean and well stocked. The room also had a back door with a small area for 2 chairs which was nice.

The beds were pretty uncomfortable. The temperature seemed to not be regulated by our thermostat as 73 degrees displayed on the control panel in the room felt more like 65. Would have liked to have tried the restaurant but it was booked all weekend since it was commencement weekend.

I liked the room having access to outside directly.

I didn't like being located all the way to the end and down a few stairs. I felt like because I had my pet I was placed way down on the end in a room. That was the only thing I didn't like about the stay. But I understand you most likely have sectioned off rooms specifically for pets & owners. I prefer to be more centrally located in the hotel (pet or no pet).

Everything was clean and pleasant. All services at dinner were impressive, everything was tasty, fresh, our waitress, Maggie was impecable presenting choices and helping with everything. Breakfast was also delicious, very fresh. Our waitress was also very nice.

Very nicely updated room with comfortable king bed, very smart bathroom with great shower. The door to the balcony seemed to be shut to not allow entrance but when I told the front desk, the maintenance guy immediately came up and unfroze it. Great staff! Went down for breakfast and we were warned they were very short staffed, that it might take a while. However, our waitress was at our table quickly, we ordered and food came right away and perfectly prepared.

The hallway was a little musty, could use some updating.

Very friendly staff of students learning on the job. Nice location on campus.

Our non-smoking room had a distinct odor of previous guests not following the rules. There was a wet bathing suit left in the bathroom, which created concerns for the overall cleanliness. However, the room did seem to be clean.
