Hampton Inn by Hilton Dayton South

We chose the Hampton Inn because we had good service when used in previous stays. Too, it was centrally located to the function we were attending. The hotel staff, especially Bre, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean with sanitizers everywhere and well kept. The hot breakfast was very good, was not expecting that much food with the COVID pandemic. I would recommend to others.

I didn't like that room rate for that night was $89 under Booking.com but when I chose the type of room which was a room with 2 Queen beds, the rate increased to $99 plus tax.

Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the service Top Notch - Martha the Breakfast Host was very nice polite courteous and Professional - she welcomed everyone with a warm smile and hello. Food was hot and yummy yum yum. Also Staff like Angela, Paul and Zaifa and Young Man that was at Front Desk when we first arrived (please forgive me for forgetting your name) were very courteous nice and very Professional also. God Bless her and entire staff.

Only minor things that were in room otherwise everything ok.

The warm chocolate chip cookies at the front desk lol. The quality of the soaps/shampoo/lotion. Very good breakfast. Lots of choices. The exceptional friendliness of the staff. Front desk,cleaning, staff, you name it. They were great. Made us feel very welcome. The room was a nice size,loved the king sized bed. Everything felt very clean therefore making us feel very comfortable. Was actually sorry that we had to leave first thing in the morning!

Cleanliness and the breakfast.

The front desk lady. Unwelcoming and rude. When I arrived there, nobody was there at the reception and waited for at least 10 minutes to see someone at the reception. However, once she returned back to the front desk, unconcerned and kept on doing whatever she thought important to her until I had to break up the silence and tell that "Hello... I have a booking for today". This is not like many other Hampton Inns that I have always rated 10/10 all the time.

Water and cookies at check in?! Plus, Derrick was amazing! When we walked in the room, it smelled clean which was a great first impression. Breakfast was awesome. Overall great value for the price.

Could use some updating (the ice machine on the 4th floor was leaking water, icky carpet in the elevator), the pool was closed.

Perfect in every way! The location was perfect. I was close to Target, so I could get my Triple shot each morning. Perfect location to my BFF, perfect location to my venue. It was quiet and peaceful. I had hot water every time I stepped into the shower. I slept very well!😊

There truly wasn’t anything!

Everything especially the Staff, Bree Front Desk, and Nancy Breakfast and all the Staff members.

Shower Curtain could have been replaced prior to our stay - may have been cleaned but because so dingy and dirty looking with so many stains - not good.

We noticed some of the furniture was worn and older but tolerated it.

The new front desk employee was so very nice. I didn't get her name but she told me she was new. She was a so helpful

Wish we could've gotten in our room right away. Had to wait in lobby for an hour because no rooms were cleaned. I completely understood we were early but it was kind of an emergency because of the rain.

I was visiting my father at Kettering Medical Center and it was convenient to the hospital and places to eat. The rooms were nice and large and clean and the bed was extra comfortable. The employees went above and beyond and were so thoughtful and caring even asking about my dad when I would go in and out.
