Residence Inn by Marriott Youngstown Warren/Niles

Breakfast was fine. No water at the breakfast area, but someone was nice enough to get me water both mornings. Room was laid out very well. With the drawers and cubbies and niches, there were plenty of spaces to put our things for our three day stay. Loved the location, direct access to the mall. Lobby is beautiful. Plenty of room to hang out.

It showed its age a little bit. Cabinets were a little beaten up. Caulking around the tub was a little worn out. There was an intermittent loud buzzing noise. We couldn't figure out what it was, but it sounded like a game show buzzer. At first it was a little disturbing, but we got used to it. Room was really hot, even with the heat turned way down.

Overall stay was good. The place was clean. We normally stay at Marriott Hotels and parents have a Marriott time share so we know what to expect. That is why we always choose Marriott. The front desk person who check us in was pleasant, full of personality and very helpful. He made the check in process smooth.

In the middle of the night the smoke alarm went off. The burning smell seemed like it was coming from the heater. The front desk person seemed to not care and just made a notation of it instead of having maintenance check on it. It was hard going back to sleep for fear of a fire.

location is good for visiting family in the area. we return annually. the property is always clean and comfortable. the staff is always lovely and accommodating.

OMG so expensive now!! ouch. wow.

The location is great. We like the access to the mall and proximity of restaurants.

Breakfast was surprisingly mediocre compared to other places we have stayed.

love the location, was so nice to go to the mall, restaurants, etc without ever going outside. didn’t have to drive. very clean, pool / hot tub excellent

bed seemed soft, wasn’t out comfort level , but clean and quality

The breakfast was good every day but only had bacon one day and I prefer bacon to sausage.

The room rate fluctuated each day and was more than I thought it should be.

We got there early and a room was available. That room apparently had a guest smoker so the Front desk staff got us an even better room at no extra charge. Breakfast was tasty and staff was very nice.

But everything else looked spotless

They did not vacuum dog hair out of chair and what room they give to dog owners they have to be very careful of smell and clean so it will Smell good that was the only thing

The staff was friendly. The room was clean and spacious. The facility was attached to a shopping mall which was an added bonus. The convention center was also attached which was convenient for easily getting back and forth to the room .

Everyone was very friendly. Clean facility.

I did not enjoy the loud noise at 11pm when I was trying to rest. It sounded like tables and or heavy furniture was moving around from 11pm-1230am. Not sure what was going on, not sure if it was staff or the facility.
