Quality Inn Austintown-Youngstown West

The location was great for us with lots of restaurant choices nearby. We brought our electric assist bikes with us and were allowed to keep them in our room overnight. It was nice to grab a light bite in their breakfast room. They had waffles that you make, cereal, bread, yogurt as well as juice, coffee and milk. There were even newspapers to read which being old school we love to do.

We thought they had a small tennis court and brought our equipment. I guess they did at one point but it was no longer there. There is plenty to do in the area so that was no big deal.

We loved the location of the hotel since it was only 15 minutes away from a concert we were attending. We also thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub that was in the room. We also liked the size of the television and mini fridge that was in the room. We were also impressed with how well the air conditioning unit worked as well. It kept the room exceptionally cool which was what we needed coming from a jam packed crowded outdoor concert in very hot and humid temperatures.

We didn't like the smell of the hotel room and in the hallway. It smelled like someone had just got done smoking. We also were a little agitated with the hotel room key card. It was a struggle to get the doors open with it. We always had to insert the card multiple times in order for the doors to unlock.

Everything was great..room was perfect size an location was great...breakfast was amazing an offered coffee all morning..staff was very nice an very easy check in had to pay a little extra for a puppy room but well worth it

we was told the pool would be open till Monday September 5 well when we got there the pool was being drained and that was Saturday the 3rd that was the only problem

This Hotel was easy to find and access as it was very close to the interstate. The room and overall general areas were tidy and clean. The sink was outside of the shower and toilet area so one could use the sink, i.e., wash hands, etc. as needed instead of being "on hold" as in other inns. The breakfast was REAL! ...just like traveling before COVID-19 restrictions; however, they keenly and proficiently followed restrictions in a way that didn't take away from the travel restrictions or the overall experience. I would definitely stay here again!

The sink drain was slow, so a little TLC would be in order.

The fact we were able to check in late after the Gary Levox concert. We also really enjoyed the hot tub that was in the room. We loved how the room was located right next to an entrance to the hotel.

We didn't like how there was not a refrigerator in the room. We didn't like how there seemed to be renovations ongoing by the front desk entrance but it didn't seem like there was anybody actually doing the renovations.

location and cost

one individual at the desk could have been more helpful. but the second person at the deck was very helpful. it would be good if they could include a protein with breakfast, for example peanut butter.

I booked in my name, when my husband went in to check us in., they refused him, he had to get out of line and come out in the cold to get my drivers license, go back in wait in line again, never have this problem at any other hotel. Tood 20=25 minutes to get checked in. his ID showing same last name and address, should have been enough.

Clean

Vending machines were partially empty. Had to walk up to the gas station to get drinks. No snacks in the snack machine. Didn’t care for the quality of the breakfasts

Pillow were comfortable, roomy, and bed was comfortable

Bath tub was painted and paint is peeling. Room had a little smell... common from not airing

The room with jacuzzi tub was nice

Had the last room next to the back door so it was quite noisy with people going in and out at all hours
