Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Akron Stow

Emma set up the breakfast each day and she was so kind, caring and dedicated. This was the best hotel breakfast I have had in a long time. Emma made sure there were options for different dietary needs, gluten free and dairy free...she even had oat milk that I totally appreciated. The crustless spinach quiche was crazy good and the oatmeal with all the trimmings was great too. Thank you to Emma and the hotel for providing the lovely breakfast.

dirt kept oddly appearing in the elevator...other than that, the hotel was very clean

Room was nice and clean, looked like new. The breakfast was good, had a nice selection and was kept efficiently clean. We were greeted very nicely by the front desk clerk.

My only complaint was that I could not access the wifi, not sure what the problem was. Also, there were not many channels on the television to choose from.

Front desk clerk was very pleasant. Room was very clean and shower was roomy. We loved the 24 hour coffee and tea. Breakfast was a nice variety and very clean. Location was close to restaurants and the Cuyahoga valley park.

A few more towels in the room would have been nice. We were hiking and showered often.

Rooms were very clean and modern. Staff was very helpful.

The check staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in pointing out stores and looked up hours for me. She answered my questions and was kind. Room had plenty of space.

Long hairs in the shower. Toilet paper in the toilet and the toilet seat was dirty. I bought cleaning supplies from Walmart to clean a room for one night. This should’ve been done, especially with Covid being an issue. Marriott really let me down. Heater only blew out cold air. I don’t say that I could use them at this location again.

Outside entry point stopped working and would not recognize the hotel key to allow re-entry which meant walking around the building in the rain. When reported to the front desk, they said maintenance wouldn't be in until Monday. They did however put an Out of Order sign up.

Room was clean spacious, modern and comfortable. Beverages were available in the lobby 24/7. Did not try the buffet style breakfast that was offered. Location was convenient to the nearby Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Location was great. A lot of nice restaurants nearby and we rode our bikes to Brandywine Falls. Morning breakfast was great and the beds and room were very comfortable. No hesitations to recommend if your looking for chain hotel in a good location to the national park.

Pool was very small and no hot tub or sauna.

Breakfast was very good. The local was great for its proximity to our family.

Grand children were disappointed that the pool was closed. We understand that maintenance issues happen but is there a way to inform visitors of the problem before they book.

The hotel was clean and the room was nice. Pillows were very soft, if you need a firmer pillow you may want to bring your own.

We had to wait 15 minutes after driving 4 hours for someone to come to the front desk. The staff was very nice but they appeared to be under staffed that night. The coffee was also cold when we arrived. The breakfast included with the stay only had cold items and was very limited. I understand restrictions due to Covid but this was worst out of three hotel breakfasts we have experienced.

The location was good! Room was clean and bed was comfortable!

The tv was not working and because I was not a Marriott member and booked thru a third party they said they couldn't do anything about it.
