Hampton Inn - Portland/Clackamas

Breakfast was great, as always. Room was very quiet, even though the site is near highway and rail line. Staff is excellent. They were friendly and very helpful.

Handicap parking along front of building is on an asphalt pad that is not very wide. When you back out of the spot with a full size vehicle, you must back off the asphalt onto a dirt field. With the rain, it was very muddy. Smaller vehicles would not have this problem and it was a minor thing

Liked free bottles of water and cookies at check-in. We requested a first floor room and got it. Breakfast was good, as always! Figuring the cost of breakfast for four people at a restaurant, the breakfast is easily a $50 value! Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Having stayed in another larger Hampton Inn in Red Bluff, the facility in Clackamas is decidedly smaller and somewhat cramped.

The breakfast was great in that it included protein. Every day they served meat and eggs in addition to the usual carbohydrates. Comfortable bed!

The air conditioner blew onto the bed, causing me to alternately be either hot or cold. I wish the A/C had moveable louvers to direct the airflow away. I used the desk chair to try to deflect the airflow, which kinda worked.

The hotel is really nice, easy parking, excellent comfortable rooms, nice decor, great internet, complete breakfast, and available coffee, tea a fruit all the time. Staff are really welocoming and helpful.

It is a shame that the material used at breakfast is not recyclable. There is an awful lot of waste. There was bit of noise from the nearby motorway, but not too bad.

The breakfast was GREAT! It was a very clean hotel and the room was vert clean and smelled very good. The hotel and thge employees were GREAT. Would recommend to anyone I know. 5 Stars!!!

The gym does need some type of air purifier. A bit offensive when you walk in, this can be rectified by installing a air purification system of some type. Call a heating company to get some information on such a product.

overall we liked staying at the property. beds were super comfortable, room was visibly clean, breakfast was great, perfect location, front desk staff were amazing.

the rooms we’ve stayed in weren’t exactly fresh smelling. just a touch musty and sweaty, maybe air purifiers or some good enzyme deodorizer when the carpets get cleaned. just seemed like a culmination of other people’s smells. Could be the carpet hanging on to odors too?

Gentleman, Mr Germain, is very pleasant and welcoming. Check in was swift and efficient. Follow up text messages were a little surprising, but provided an extra layer of customer service I have not realized at any other hotel I've stayed at in the U.S. Room was as I expected size wise. Bed/pillows were comfortable and I got a good night's rest. Bathroom was shiny and fresh. Bath towels were soft and clean. To my surprise and happiness the bath towels did not smell of bleach. Overall, top rated facility in it's price range. I would certainly stay here again.

I have no issues here. This room was exactly what I expected. I did not try the breakfast.

The room was clean and quiet. I like hard mattresses but this one not so comfy. Bfast was decent. Coffee excellent and served all day. Staff was super accommodating. Neighborhood felt safe. There was no decent chair in room from which to read.

The bed was not too good in room 221. Also there were no lounging chairs in room so I had to read sitting in.my bed.

Greeted with complimentary bottled water and cookies, amazing breakfast options and longer breakfast times than other hotels offer. Check out was at noon rather than 10 or 11am. The coffee had raw sugar, a rare find. The room was quiet and everyone in the hotel was courteous, even the other guests. The pillows and bedding were comfortable, which is always shocking that other hotels do not bother to invest in this important part of the stay. We usually look for a hotel with the pool but my family did enjoy the spa both nights we stayed. The staff went above and beyond during our stay and after when I accidentally left some clothes behind. They also made sure my teenagers didn't leave the hotel without a sack lunch with bagels and cream cheese. Free wifi and parking are always appreciated.

The real cream at the coffee desk that gets put out only during breakfast would be nice to have all day. I can't think of a single other thing this hotel is lacking other than a swimming pool.

Breakfast was excellent-great options, refilled frequently, very clean. Bathrooms nicely remodeled. Whole hotel very clean and super friendly, skilled staff.

Very small room, tiny pillows, lack of closet space, thin walls-could hear conversations in adjacent room when they came home after midnight, waking me up. They were not yelling, just talking, but it woke me up and kept me awake.
