I liked it wasn't a typical motel. It was more like an airbnb. Breakfast was in your room with different assortment of bagels, oatmeal, yogurt..guess I was expecting a hot type breakfast, but it was fine. I like the unique aspect of the place, if you're afraid of clutter you may not like it. I had a family room and it was spacious and had a slider to go outside. Dog friendly so that is a big plus. Even had dog bowls available. I would stay here again just for the unique qualities. The host was super friendly and informative.

It has 3 "beds", One queen, which was comfortable, one is a futon another maybe a twin? I didn't look at it closely. I wouldn't want to sleep on the futon. The family unit is two floors, and the steps are a little steep, so if you have mobility issues it may be a little hard to navigate. It's not a dislike, but the bathroom is down the steps, so if you're a person who gets up in the middle of the night, it's not easy to get there quickly with the steps.

I lived in Portland, specifically happy valley before moving. I went back for a concert & saw the reviews for Scott Creek Farm. It looked quirky but given the reviews, I thought to give it a try & im so glad I did!! My sister and I were so impressed with the hospitality, the thoughtfulness, amenities and the incredible outback creek with lush green background. A bench perfect to sit at & have a cup of coffee. The place is cute, clean, quaint. It is PERFECT!! & location? SAFE, quiet and in good proximity to just about anything. It is a MUST STAY!! Anytime I’m back, I will be staying here. Thank you Don & Mary. What a gem you have here.

It was perfect. Nothing to dislike. Everything u could need & even the things u didn’t know u may need.

The continental breakfast was fresh fruit, pastry, coffee provided daily to our room and the owners, Don & Monique were so friendly and sweet, they were available to answer any questions we had and not only provided a lovely garden room but beautiful large bathroom also decorated like an eclectic garden room with clean linens and toiletries incase their guests forgot a toothbrush, soap, shampoo, etc. They thought of everything, even reading materials & games if you didn't want to watch TV or go on a hike by the creek.

It was hard to see the entrance to the facility at night, the driveway should be lit up more with a sign that says Scott Creek Farm visible from both directions.

The setting is amazing. There are paths to the creek with places to sit and enjoy the view. It is like a little fold of nature in the increasingy developed area. The one bedroom is small, but comfortable. The bed was better tham somemotel rooms I've stayed in. The hosts go above and beyond in providing all the things needed to enjoy a stay. And it is pet-friendly. WiFi was good.

I had a little trouble finding the sweet spot for my phone. And I could have used a little more lighting in the room. It is a personal preference--and not like there weren't 3 lamps--I just like a bit more. And if I were being super picky, I'd like one surface with the space to work with the computer. None of these are deal breakers by any stretch.

Beautiful inside and out. They provided everything you could possibly think of and more, their hospitality makes you feel like you’re staying with your own family. They even upgraded our stay free of charge because they had a cancellation! I would recommend to absolutely anyone looking for a place to stay in the area, beyond wonderful experience.

Eclectic property in the heart of Happy Valley that backs up to a small creek (Scott Creek). Travelers should note that this is not your standard hotel room. It feels more like staying in a very comfortable room at your eccentric but loving aunt's house. My room was large with it's own deck overlooking the garden and pathway down to the creek. The room was fully stocked with a small fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, plus plates, utensils, etc. The bathroom was large with a wide array of personal hygiene items. The room was loaded with all sorts of little nick-knacks that added to it's charm. The owner met me outside as I was parking and gave me a tour of my room and the property. She was very warm and gracious and genuinely wanted me to be comfortable while staying there.

The driveway into the property is a little difficult to see from the main road.

SO much to like! Mary has the most well stocked property of all time...she has stuff you didn't think you needed and you wouldn't ever fine in any other bnb, I am pretty sure! First aid, health supplies, and other items you would never expect to find. I was amazed! There was plenty to like for breakfast, bananas, oatmeal, fresh muffins, cereal, real milk, real half and half (my personal standard of excellence). The coffee she offers is ground so fine, it makes an excellent cuppa joe, and I am quite particular about it. The bed and bedding were comfy, plenty of nice towels. This is not your plain jane Motel 6, so if you need minimalist, go elsewhere. There are many curios, objects of art, and the like, but I didn't find it overwhelming somehow. And despite the many objects, I could not find a speck of dust. Floors are very clean, as is the bath. It was hotter than two hades that day, but even though they were fixing the aircon, somehow the room stayed cool and the extra fans made for good sleep. Out back there is a creek with more decorations in the trees, etc. There is a walking trail as well. Curious statuary, a flock of pink flamingoes, big fun! Very well organized food trucks are a mile away, lots to pick from especially if not a Monday. I think the rate is better on here than on the other platform which charges service fees. Ask Mary a bit about her life story, I found it amazing, and would love to hear more of it!

The aircon was in the process of being fixed, but it wasn't bad at all... I was surprised, as I like a cold sleep. The approach to the house is off a fairly busy curve. Follow their directions, not gps, which for some reason brings you through a neighborhood totally unnecessarily. I thought the traffic noise would be an issue, but not so. I wasn't totally sure I would love all the decor, but I was glad I stayed there, especially for my meeting in Happy Valley. Thank you Don and Mary!

Staff was pleasant and very accommodating. The room was very homey. Everything you could imagine was provided, including fresh ground decaf coffee. We had great pastries, bagels with cream cheese, fruit, milk and cereal, cheese, bottled and sparkling water and hot beverages. Lots of books to read, scrabble game and TV for entertainment. There was a cute deck with table and chairs in the back yard overlooking the garden. It was very quiet and the bed was comfortable. There was a noise machine if needed. The bathroom was well stocked with extra tooth brushes, tooth paste, shampoos, lotions, hairspray, quips and much more A microwave, coffee maker and small fridge were provided.

We liked everything

The breakfast items were good. My husband enjoyed the poppyseed muffin. I enjoyed having the oatmeal. Had the bottled water. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very nice; loved all the different items!

The only issue was the fresh raspberries were moldy in the morning, and the crescent roll had a mold spot. No other issues!
