Courtyard by Marriott Portland Hillsboro

Liked the room had a balcony overlooking courtyard.

Certain things were not inclusive so I was confused when desk clerk mentioned the extra money request on my credit card which later is refunded. I took it to mean I already paid for breakfast. So perhaps a short explanation when talking about the extra toward the room is, "for example, if you order breakfast, tell cook to charge breakfast to your room and that $20 will be applied to your breakfast." People use to free continental at a lesser hotel may confuse easily

The staff was very friendly, and check-in was quick. Parking was easy and abundant. The property was easy to find and in a good location. I loved the layout of the room.

The bed was not comfortable to sleep on. The walls are very thin. We stayed on the second floor, and I could hear the guests above me walking, running, and talking. I wish there was daily housekeeping because I like to come back from a day out with my bed made and fresh towels.

The hotel is clean and conveniently located near the freeway and department stores. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is spacious. The only problem was, there was not enough staff and the breakfast is not available (as advertised). The staff was so nice enough to provide some small credit from their market. Overall, the hotel is clean and nice.

I paid for the nightly rate with breakfast, however, the breakfast is not available.

I'm in the hospitality industry and came to get away and relax and that is what I was able to do for three days. I loved leaving the big tips to everyone that was making my meals and stay what it was :)

Would have been nice to be told that they didn't serve breakfast at check-in but with at said there are plenty of restaurants in the area. We all know, at least I'd hope by now that staffing is an issue but the staff working should be comended for all they have to deal with.

The room was nice and clean staff was nice and courteous very helpful great location would stay there again I didn't get my senior discount though

I thought you might have free continental breakfast but I didn't see that offered. I didn't receive a military or senior discount

Situation, clean, comfy bed.

The welcome by the staff at the counter was cold. Smell of chlore in the hallway. The insonorisation is useless. Hearing loud steps from above and people in the neighbours restrooms, noisy noisy noisy.

I stayed with my daughters to utilize the pool. It was perfect because we were the only ones there and they had a great time. Our room was just 1 flight of stairs down to the pool area so that was nice that we didn't have to walk far.

There was no continental breakfast offered. There was a bistro where it was $14 per person.

cleanliness and the price.

The location. It was hard to find at night. The shower door made it difficult to reach the bath towel. I had to get out of the shower to get the towel. It was dangerous; I could have slipped. If both of the doors had been sliding doors, that would have been quite helpful.

The room was very comfortable with high end accomodations.

The toilet was too low and probably does not meet ADA standards for the disabled accessible room we had.

Location! The pretty courtyard in the middle. Great breakfast, coffee and bar in the lobby

The bathrooms need updating. It is an older hotel and everything worked but it needs updating.
