Holiday Inn Portland West - Hillsboro, an IHG hotel

Room size was great and the bed was very comfortable.

The Murphy bed was very uncomfortable sadly. And the hot tub was barely hot and quite dirty.

The hotel is good, only negative is that Booking.com is used to book this hotel - so it does not recognize your hotel status - also the hotel staff was not able to connect the booking to your account - so better to not use Booking.com to book your hotel

Location, Cleanliness

$10 additional per night parking fee, and if booked by third party the complimentary breakfast doesn't show up on the hotels computer,,, so watch for extra $16 per person per breakfast charge! Also charge for stay was put on card I reserved with, even after telling them twice and giving them the card at check out that I wanted it put on. So beware the card you book with WILL be the one charged for entire stay.

very nice rooms! Very Clean! Sliding barn door on bathroom, not my favorite feature because light still shines thru when closed but beautiful design. And at this time no breakfast served , I think do to staffing shortage. but not a big deal because there are plenty of places to get breakfast close by. I have stayed here twice. It has a very nice and beautiful lobby and exercise and pool area!. Good coffee offered in the lobby every morning plus kerig in the rooms,

Room was clean, modern, and pretty comfortable. I was unaware that there was a hot tub and pool on site, so that was a nice surprise. I was informed at check in that housekeeping staff comes only when asked, which I prefer.

The restaurant and bar were not open, there were supposed to be take away breakfast bags in replacement, but I was not told that they were only available until 9am. The hot tub was never heated past tepid, even though it was offered upon check-in as an amenity. Also, there is a 10 fee for parking per day which was not disclosed at check in nor on booking.com.

The staff was efficient and friendly. The whole place was bright and clean. The room was very clean with ample supplies of towels and toiletry.

The price is a bit high, especially when breakfast was not included. There was no smaller room for us to book. We really didn't need such a big room for two people staying only one night. Wonder if there's a smaller unit for just two persons.

This is my go to hotel when coming to the area, the pros are the hot tub, the nice massaging shower heads, the restaurant on site, the location is amazing, and all the staff are always kind

The only problems that I had on this trip was that I really wanted to go to the bar on-site but it was closed and I wish they had some firmer pillows

Location was perfect. Tons of restaurant choices in the area. Everything is nice and new.

There was a half eaten cookie under the bedskirt! Yuck. We didn't like that they charge extra for parking and breakfast is not included. The restaurant looked nice but for almost 200 a night I wasn't trying to pay 50 for my family to have breakfast.

Very clean, quiet, and peaceful just what we needed! Perfect location in Hillsboro too next to all we needed but not next to freeway noise.

We didn't realize the room would have a frostedsliding glass door for the bathroom that didn't seal so there was very little privacy visual or sound. . Wish staff had alerted us to this - think it was an accessible room - so we could have switched before we went up and were too tired to switch rooms.

The location is great, and the hotel is well-manicured and clean. The front-desk staff is friendly and helpful. we’ve stayed at this hotel twice, and both times we really enjoyed it.

Having to request housekeeping every day (that was a first for me), and having to pay $10 per day for parking.
