Holiday Inn Portland-Airport I-205, an IHG Hotel

The double queen room was very nice and complete with anything you would want. Good bedding.

I signed up through Booking.com. When I used my confirmation email to call the hotel, no one picked up. I was asked to leave a message (At 11:30 pm at PDX) I kept calling, no response. Luckily a girl next to me had made the call and we were picked up. I asked the desk clerk why the problem. He said Booking.com had a generic number and that I should have googled the phone number. I don't think I should have to do extra work. The confirmation email should be accurate.

So i was traveling on a budget so to speak i had booked a room using one of those travel deal companies and got a super good deal saved like 38% or it may have been even more anyways this was not the 1st time using the travel deal websites but with doing so and getting such a great deal at most places i have found they look at you as if you dont belong or cant afford to be there and you definately get what you pay for meaning you get put in there lowest rated room no matter the original cost of the room if a high end cost you would still get a low budget room but much to my surprise that wasnt the case there at the holiday inn well at 1st the room i had gotten was way off in a corner and seem to be a room that hadnt been used or tended to or aired out in a while and i was pretty upset and offended honestly and the fronk desk had sent a message asking me if everything was to my liking it wasnt and feeling frustrated and offended i said something and was gathering my bags and was looking to book elseware and just then to my surprise the lady at the front desk Yvett was her name without hesitation asked that i come to the front desk i did and she had another room already waiting for me she was the sweetest nicest friendliest person and so apologetic and was not at all looking at me or treating me like i didnt belong there she went above and beyond to make my stay there and all my stays since amazing the holiday inn is at the top of my list of places to stay in portland it has everything and whatever it doesnt have its just a short distance away its location could not be more perfect to get to wherever you desire in just minutes and the parking is even in a secured lot it is a big hotel but thanks to the staff at the front desk and throughout its got a bed and breakfast type fell the quality and detail they provide is amazing as if your the only one in the building it is great i highly recomend this hotel as a must stay if your traveling to portland

The bed was super comfortable and room was warm considering I had spent a night at the cold airport stuck in the snow. The staff at the reception were awesome and the shuttle bus drivers (all 4 I experienced) were kind, considerate and professional. Wish I knew their names.

The restaurant staff!! They were so rude AND racist! No other way to put it. Seemed they were forced to work especially the bald guy with a beard who was verbally rude and in his actions throwing trays and making so much noise just because I asked for cutlery to eat!

I liked that the hotel was accessible to the airport with free shuttle service. The rooms were a bit dated, but overall comfortable. We had a quiet location and we were able to sleep peacefully. I liked that there was a restaurant to have a quick meal without having to leave the premises.

I think it would be nice to update the property - our sink had a crack in it; the drain was discolored; the bedroom walls could be cleaned as well (there were some kind of dirt spots). The TV didn't offer many program choices which was disappointing.

The handicap room was great. I was able to get around. Enjoy the restaurant and the food was good and the waiter he was fantastic. The pool is nice and warm and I really enjoyed it. We've come back because I can get around easy in the motel.

The only thing I can think of is if you're in a Walker it wheelchair it is very hard to open up the doors. The doors are very heavy in the public bathrooms and I had a hard time getting into the bathrooms. Our hotel room door was very hard for me to open and get my Walker inside. It would be nice if there was a way to keep the door open or have a button to press so someone in a walker or wheelchair could get inside. Otherwise everything was great.

it was clean, the hotel had a restaurant and other food amenities, the remote and shower were easy to use, and they let us extend our stay by a day with no issues. Great hotel, will definitely be returning.

parking was a bit hard to find, if you’re returning late be prepared to make a bit of a walk. but this isn’t particular the hotels fault.

The hotel was a great place to stay overnight as part of air travel. The shuttle was very convenient. The staff were quite cheerful and the fish and chips and cheese curds in the restaurant were yummy too!

The room was not very large and it was the last room on the floor plan, so it infringed on the comfort of the room a bit. The restaurant was a tad expensive. I was accidentally ignored by the staff while trying to check out for several minutes too.

the bedding was so soft and comfortable i coupd stay in bed all day at the holiday inn…the staff was very welcoming and helpful throughout our entire stay and the hotel was one of the cleanest ive been too sense COVID-19…thank you holiday inn for a great stay and experience

the security driving around the parking lot fir hours harrassing our family who were coming to visit as our guests but were told to leave before they made it inside…very rude and jusgemental

One of the most comfortable beds we had on a three-week vacation!

This is an old (but well-maintained) property, so elevators were a hike from the lobby.

The staff really showed me genuine concern. Made me feel at home. In my time of grief they noticed and stepped up. Checking in on me and offering kind words!

Everything was perfect . I had no complaints. I was going through a really rough time in my personal life. The staff really catered to that. Hospitality was at its finest.
