Inn At The Meadows - Portland - Delta Park - Jantzen Beach

Check in was fast, only a $50 incidental hold and the front desk staff are extremely kind and accommodating. I didn't even have to ask to be in a room near a side entrance to make it convenient to take out my service dogs, it's like the woman who checked me in read my mind haha. I always feel so extra when I ask for anything beyond being checked in for my stay so it was nice to have someone check me in who knew what I needed without me saying it. I stay in hotels often and this has been by far one of the nicest, cleanest and fairly priced places I've come across. I even booked an extra night! Rooms have ample counter space and huge drawers so literally everything I have can be stowed away with no bags and clutter everywhere. Wish I would have found this gem sooner.

I do not know what all the bad reviews are about for this hotel. We had a very good experience. The room and common areas were spotless, the bed was comfortable, the large room was well furnished (large desk, minifrig, microwave, etc.), and the price was very reasonable. There were some homeless people in the general area but not the hordes others have written about. There were none at the hotel or in the parking lot even at night. There was a Burger King and a diner like restaurant next door. Overall it was a very good experience.

The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. The staff was polite. The room looked great. While there was a fair amount of homeless in the area they seemed to keep off the property. I don't know if you had security, but it was nice not having to worry about the vehicle.

There was some scratched in graffiti in the elevator and the door sounded like it needs repair. Someone propped open the side door on the east side of the property, this may be something you might want staff to check every so often. The breakfast was cold and the microwave only allowed for 10 seconds of reheat time. The eggs were obviously powdered but still edible. I didn't bother with the pancake maker since there was a bit of a line for it and people were having a hard time figuring it out.

This hotel was very nice and clean!! The staff was very accommodating, especially when I got there way earlier than 3pm, which was nice so I wouldn't have to sit in the lobby with all my belongings. The rooms were clean and all throughout the building there was a nice floral aroma! The breakfast was the same thing everyday, which is to be expected since covid, and the staff have to pre-portion everything out.. it makes sense as they don't want to risk people just sticking their hands in the food. But overall its still nice that if you want breakfast its provided; so I will not complain about that. It was near a Walmart, Shari's café, burger king, close to the freeway entrance, and even had a chevron and mini mart next door. Nice and quiet at night, and just was an overall great experience for me as I travel quite a bit for work. I will definitely be back!

I wish it were a little closer to the clinic I was working out of, but I made due with it the best I could between ubers, lyfts, and the public bus system.

The bed was very comfortable. Slept really well. There was plenty of space in the room. It had recently been remodeled.

We were in a room that had been remodeled and it was missing furniture. There was a desk chair but no other seating. There was a space for a sofa but it hadn't been added yet. This wasn't a huge deal and didn't affect our stay.

The staff was great, the room was clean, and it was a great value overall. Also, the location is nice if you're trying to stay outside of the busier part of town but still want to be within a 10-15 minute drive of all the cool stuff downtown.

Both are pretty small complaints overall. The bathroom in our unit was a little poorly lit, but it was only because there was one burned out bulb in one of the light fixtures. I didn't bother calling to have it fixed since there was another light anyways. Also, some of the fixtures (the shower head and tub) looked slightly outdated compared to the rest of the bathroom.

The check-in staff was very accommodating, nice, and great customer service because I just flew in from the airport and was 1 hr early to be checked in for my room, but she was very nice and accommodating to let my child and I checked in early. Also, she placed us on the 2nd floor because she we were females. That's what I called great customer services! Btw, breakfast was great, too!

Ample free parking. Within walking distance to Walmart and a couple places to eat. Front desk staff were AMAZING! Laundry was hassle free and they even give you some detergent and fabric sheets! Even though this is an older property, housekeeping was on it! They were efficient , I didn't see trash outside room doors for long, and there were some hall air freshners.

The pics are a bit deceiving....this is a dated property. The carpet is stained throughout and there is a stale smell in some parts. The sanitizing stations in and outside elevator never worked.

The staff was very friendly and the location was quiet and in good walking distance to a few restaurants and a walmart. Room and hotel were clean and bed was nice. Room was also very spacious. Breakfast was amazing. Try the biscuits and gravy!

Stairway door next to room door was splitting apart and had no catch, so it would always slam pretty loudly when people would walk through it. Additionally, although it didn't hamper my experience, the carpet was stained and the armchair that was placed in the room looked like a dog had attacked it.

The breakfast was a delightful surprise, many choices to choose from with both hot and cold items available. Really liked the “touchless” pancakes!

The few unhoused people near the area is little off putting, but far removed from the hotel enough to not worry about.
