The Portlander Inn and Marketplace

I liked that everything we need is available right there on site! We even saw a movie in their very nice cinema. We will likely visit the Portlander again!

The Cinema was appeared closed and we didn't know who to ask to buy tickets. There was just one employee manning the hot deli right there next to the cinema, and he said their popcorn was empty because it was out of stock. We thought the movie wasn't playing, and waited to see if anyone was going to show up at the register. Some signage would have been helpful to let us know we were supposed to ask the deli employee for our tickets. But once we'd gotten past that obstacle, we really enjoyed watching the movie there.

I couldn't wait to write this review. Booking this hotel I was NOT under the impression it was a truck stop, gas station. Upon arrival I was second guessing my choice as to follow through with my reservation. Checking in was a pleasure as the staff was effient and nice. Receiving my room keys I was genuinely impressed with the newly renovated and modern up to date features in the hotel and rooms. Every bit of the older generation building had been upgraded. I absolutely am thrilled by all the options this place has to offer. Starting with a nice hotel, laundry facility, market place mini store, a movie theater playing a movie three times a day, massage available by appointment, sit down home cooked restaurant style dining with buffet available at preferred times and to top it off a country style bar with live music and dance floor with full bar and grill. I could get everything I needed all right within this property. Oh and I would like to add every establishment within this location was dog friendly. Having an emotional support animal I felt blessed to include him on a leash in my outings on the property.

I honestly can not think of anything off the top of my head. It was a pleasure to stay on this all in one property.

That it had so many things to do right there on the hotel property! Theater, restaurant, lounge, 24hour market, poker machines, and much more!

That after I booked my reservation, I got a message stating they don’t accept bookings from people that live within a 45 mile radius of the hotel. I got kinda stressed out and worried because there was no refunds listed on my reservation. BUT, everything ended up working out. The hotel staff were very nice, let me check in without a hitch, & didn’t say a thing about the 45 mile radius thing. (Maybe take that message off from sending out to people to save others from stressing for no reason lol) Thank you for a good stay though! I’ll be back and I’ve already recommended your hotel to friends/family :)

Amazed the "includes breakfast" was choices of hot breakfasts in an attached restaurant...Took advantage of option to have $8 discounted from bill when chose to select breakfast from FULL menu option. (2nd day) Cleanliness and quietness of rooms and cleanliness/orderliness of other services at site. Attentive/friendly/helpful staff on all shifts and in restaurant. Safety of parking area. What a "find" close to airport and friends we were visiting.

Friendly staff, very near airport, comfy room, had everything we needed right on site. Great food at the restaurant, 24/7 convenience store...

I was very happy with this place, will definitely be back. If I would say anything didn't like it would be that the pillows were a little lumpy and there were a couple of stray wrappers on the floor in an otherwise very clean room. Neither of these will deter me from returning.

What I think I like the most was the options of different things to eat right there at the hotel. There was a deli there was a restaurant and they're also was a bar and grill all in the same building connected to the hotel. I was overly surprised on how clean and neat it was as well as how pleasant the staff was.

I honestly couldn't find anything that I didn't like about this place.

There are a lot of travel-related businesses in the hotel complex. Two restaurants, a laundromat, a deli, a convenience store, a mailbox store. This makes it very convenient especially if you are there for a few days. Also, free breakfast is provided.

Some rooms have no closet, clothes hangers or places to hang your clothes.

I booked at the Portlander because of price, proximity to PDX, reviews and the fact that I arrived late and they have a convenience store on site and I knew that I would want to have something to eat when I got to the hotel. Also, since I arrived after their shuttle driver had left for the night they paid for an Uber ride for me.

The property had quite a few amenities, such as restaurants, a cinema, and a convenience store that made the stay even more appealing. If I didn't want to venture out, I still had things to do right there on-site. And, the breakfast was very good, definite value for money.

I can’t say enough about this place! I’ve become a regular here and I live local! lol I do “staycations” and this hotel literally has everything I need/want so I rarely need to leave the hotel for anything plus it’s always clean, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are all super sweet.

Honestly, I have no complaints! :)
