Quality Inn Downtown Convention Center Portland

The employee at the check in desk was super nice and helpful. Made sure to break down all the important info so we knew exactly where our room was, knew about breakfast, how the wi-fi worked, parking, etc. Without overdoing it! Excellent a/c, delicious waffles and juice available in the breakfast offerings.

There's a lot of security measures with locking exterior doors, which is a great idea, but there was one that kept malfunctioning. We didn't stay long, and the door was not working more than it was actually working properly

The room appeared to be recently updated and was nice and clean. Shower was very nice. Front desk was very helpful and accommodating to our needs for early check-in and parking. Lots of local eateries from fast food to finer dining. Close to MODA Center, Convention Center and light rail and bus. Getting downtown was quick and easy on the light rail.

Breakfast was a little limited but adequate. Bed was a little soft for me but I like a very firm bed so I can't say this is really a negative. Outside appearance makes the hotel look unkept.

Clean rooms, deposit ensures no smoking, lots of times more inexpensive hotels the rooms smell like cigarettes and it's soo gross. I think the deposit really deters people from smoking in there, keeping the rooms nice and smelling good =) the hotel manager also was really nice, we were able to stay an extra night last minute because he looked for cancelations for us in the system (they were all booked up), which he didn't have to do. Also super good location and value. It's an 8ish minute walk to the convention center (we were here for comic con) so that was also nice to slip the traffic for the event since there is hotel parking on site. Value also just super on point for all three was to offer (including the pool which was up and running)

Location, convenient access to public transportation (streetcars : Red, blues and green lines). Bugdet option, but decent. The hotel is not brand new and fancy, but it offers ewerything thst is needed to stay on a place quite comfortably

No such thing. The hotel offers American style breakfast. A morning snack rather than big one.

The room was amazing the air conditioner filters were clean and it worked well. It has breakfast available and an indoor pool.

Asked the late night front desk staff on Saturday if we could pay for a later check out time and she stated no the latest check out was at noon. However someone else got to pay money to stay until 2pm. I sliced my finger opened on the first day try to change the shower head to a different setting.

the bed was so comfy. stayed in the EXACT same room a week and a half prior with my sister's 😅😅 was nice to sleep on a bed and not my air mattress, didn't wake up on the floor this time!

no stayover service. I had accidentally bled thru my clothing not knowing had placed everything in the tub expecting clean/fresh linens / bed made after bring gone for surgery all day... coming back to that was not the best thing...

Breakfast. Location. Clean quiet and cool room with refer and microwave! The outside looks bad but all inside rooms have been upgraded. Towels worn but functional. The breakfast room could use some new paint!

Wished the roof was off the pool and the elevator was not smelly. Used the stairs and avoided the pool. Someday this will be a tear down replaced by a huge modern place to rival the Hyatt...the Hyatt is not inviting.

The guy who checked us in was really nice. I walked away thinking that this was a really nice guy. Also so was someone who was doing laundry. He saw us struggling and came out to help us.

Parking was 10.00 but 10. Is not that bad. I think across the street parking was 30.00 so in the end I'm okay with 10. :)

Everything was so comfy and homey feeling, and the desk lady was amazingly kind and always available! Location is amazing with 3 bus stops, a red robins across the street, and the MAX station 3 blocks away. Lloyd center is 2 blocks away as well.

Never got any room service and there was a moldy smell everytime we entered the room. Pool was freezing cold. Breakfast consists of a single blueberry muffin, a water bottle, and a Jimmy Dean microwavable sandwich.

Two short blocks from the Convention Center, or the Red-line Metro (which comes from the airport) => ideal for anyone coming to Portland for a conference! Safeway grocery about 5 blocks away; and lots of fast-food, Denny's, pizza, and Mexican eating within 4 blocks.

COVID-safe "breakfast" are pre-packaged tiny muffin and tiny croissant-sandwich to heat in microwave. Better option is Dennys across the street. During our 6-day stay, the room wasn't cleaned for 2 of those days.
