SCP Redmond Hotel

LOVED our two night stay here. Wish we could have stayed longer! Simple and natural aesthetic to the whole property. Rooms so much more than we anticipated with lovely seating area with sofa and coffee table and 2nd tv. FABULOUS toiletries! LOVED IT!

Only two things could have made our stay even better: an in-room microwave and a public outdoor seating area where we could have enjoyed our local craft brews. The lounge/lobby were fabulous but having an outdoor space would have been exceptional. One small seating area outdoors at the back entrance in the alley was decorated a well as could be but not an area to sit and enjoy a drink - maybe a cigarette. Their rooftop restaurant and garden was nice but only accessible if you had a reservation to dine there rather than just sit and enjoy the view.

Historic hotel in center of the old main street in Redmond. Good restaurants and bars close by. Rooftop deck would have been nice but there was a lot of wildfire smoke in the air (August 10, 2023) so we did not use it.

Air conditioner in room was very noisy. There was a puddle of water in the shower when we checked in. Hotel provided free coffee in reception was like colored hot water and the coffee shop in the lobby did not open till 7am.

Our stay was just for one night as we passed through on our way home to the Everett, WA area with 5 other friends. When we arrived, we took advantage of the rooftop for snacks and beverages. We LOVED this area as we arrived well before sundown and got to enjoy the lovely and colorful sunset. The service was excellent. Our rooms were exceptionally clean (isn't it strange that we need to even comment on that!), the beds comfy. We liked the calming music that greeted us in the room.

The pillows were a little too "big" as compared to what my husband and I are used to. That being said, we did have a nice night and slept well.

The hotel has been nicely restored. The wood floors throughout are gorgeous! Our room had a small refrigerator that was a nice feature. The free welcome drink was a real treat! Free freshly brewed coffee in the morning was very appreciated.

I don’t know if it’s the interface with Booking.com, but for one nights stay I received almost a dozen email messages and numerous text messages. This was RIDICULOUS!

The location is perfect! It was easy to get to off the main routes through town, and close to many additional businesses one would like to be near. The rooms were hardwood floors and the bath large and tiled completely. The appointments were mostly well thought out. The staff was exemplary! When I tried to return due to unexpectedly having to get our car fixed in town, they willingly searched their records to help us out. That was greatly appreciated, though they could not accommodate us. The willingness factor was noted. The market in the lobby area was lacking in our desired plain white milk, but had other fancier items, like chocolate milk and coffee and natural juices. The complimentary Kombucha was a welcoming touch. I suspect they are the very best deal in town, and that is why they are full.

It was during a drought and the heat wave was over 110 degrees, but though the air conditioning was on high everywhere, we went, they also had a fire burning in the fireplace. That much detail to ambiance was ridiculous! What a waste of energy at a time the power was stressed due to the heat. One easily-corrected item about the room, is that the light was insufficient for darkness, being low in power and not placed near the chairs for reading.

Employees take a lot of pride in their jobs and in making you feel satisfied. Food is excellent quality and reasonable prices. In fact I think is the best food you can find in the area. They also have a very nice gym available 24x7. Bkfst was delightful and latte coffee magnificent. My only comment is that I found the room a bit chilly but I come from the tropics so not accustomed to cold weather

We were very pleased with the room and the service. One of the housekeeping staff help me with the luggage up the elevator and to the room. We also left a cell phone in the room that they retrieved and had for pickup at the front desk after we had checked out. Within walking distance of many retaurants.

The hotel didn't have parking, but there was a parking lot in the next block behind the hotel and street parking had no meters or time limits so it wasn't an issue.

Convenience and traditional “Redmond”!

The thermostats were set at 71 and it was chilly, but if I turned it up to 72 or 73 it was stuffy and warm so we wrapped up and tolerated the chill. Probably not much that can be done about it… just thought it should be brought to your attention. Our room was 209.

I liked the creaky floor. The working & effective air conditioner. The street fair outside on Saturday & Sunday. I liked being able to walk up the big wide wooden steps going up to the room. The downstairs lobby area & bar are top notch.

The bean burger. You guys serve bacon, pls serve a decent hamburger. There's a small burger chain in Southern California called the Habit - they serve a fried green tomato & brie cheese with a premium beef patty, which is very good.

I chose this hotel for it's location (close to the airport), but was pleasently surprised by the whole package; socially conscious (they plant a tree for each visitor!), environmental friendly, great bars and restaurants (vegetarian), old stylish building with carachter, nicely decorated and dog friendly.

This town is too small for such a great hotel.
