Ebb Tide Oceanfront Inn

This is not a 5-star hotel, however upon checking in we encountered the friendliest desk clerks. The room was clean, and stocked with coffee, tea and toiletries. The main reason for the high rating I have given is the beach access and the pet friendliness this hotel offers. We had a nice grassy area right in front of the hotel with bags for the pet's waste. The free breakfast was great for low calorie options, Keto and gluten free. I would defiantly stay again.

The hot tub needs to be repainted, the tiles around the pool need to be clean and the bed pillows and towels smell bad. Fortunately, I bring my own pillows and blanket.

fast check in front desk gave us the run down and it was also on a well explained print out , gave us doggie gift box , rooms were exceptionally clean . and the toilet was leaking thru a connecting hose called front desk and someone was up in less then 5 min to fix . fixed in less then 5 min . cookies at front desk 6pm nightly and grab and go breakfast . it was a nice selection and very clean and organized. they had daily room cleaning and did a great job . from the outside it looks older but they keep the inside very clean and well maintained.

The breakfast was beyond my expectations! I was worried that because of my dietary restrictions I wouldn't be able to eat anything. There were options for everyone! What a way to put on a breakfast. I loved that we could take the food to our room. We were getting ready for a dance competition and that meant my daughter could eat while she got ready.

It was a little noisy at night. That isn't necessasrily something the Inn could control. The buildings are a bit older and some people are just louder. I am sure being right by the beach makes it louder, because people on the beach don't care about the noise...which is understandable. That is my only dislike though.

The location is perfect, we didn’t have to walk far to the beach.

The staff was amazing. They answered the phone immediately and could answer all of my questions. The complimentary breakfast was great and they even provided trays to carry your breakfast back to your room. The motel although older was clean and well taken care of. Most of all the ocean view was outstanding. The weather was awful but I could sit inside, warm and comfortable, and enjoy what I came for.

Water pressure in the shower. Wasn't the worst I have encountered but after a swim in the pool it took a bit to get the chlorine out of our hair.

We loved the proximity to the beach and the nostalgic feel of everything in Seaside. Refreshingly unpretentious for a tourist town, with everything we needed in walking distance. The room was comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook a few meals to keep costs down. The beds were very comfy, and it was great to have a separate bedroom! It was so nice to sit in the comfort of our room and gaze at the waves when the weather was not necessarily the nicest for being on the beach.

Our only regret was that we didn't stay another night or two!

Travelled to Seaside for a much needed vacation. We stayed at the EBB tide hotel and were very impressed with the hotel and the staff. Everyone was so friendly and professional. Location of the hotel was amazing. Stayed in a room on third floor and the view of the ocean and beach was exceptional. The grab and go breakfast was so much more than we expected. The food was hot with a nice variety of selections. We will be back to Seaside and we will stay at EBB tide again

We really enjoyed the stay, the staff was so accommodating and nice and kind. The room was older but very clean and roomy. The fireplace was a very nice surprise. The bed was comfy and the pillows were some very nice ones! The cookies and salt water taffy was a great treat. The breakfast to go was very delicious and lots of choices. We know we will be returning in future!

The only complaint we have is the bathroom in room # 125. The toilet is so low we are almost sitting on the floor with no handle or gripping bar to use to get off or stand up with. Good grief with 2 bad knees it almost killed me!! You really should try sitting on it yourself.

I loved the breakfast options. The tea assortment and pancake maker was awesome. The biscuits and gravy tasted homemade and were amazing. The room was so great. I needed the comfort stay to meditate and cleanse my brain before my next step in my cancer journey. I haven't beat it yet, but this stay helped my mental awareness and health to be able to continue the fight.

The ONLY thing I wished was the pool was a bit warmer. I was very cold and it was rare cold day outside too. That is the only thing I can say would need help, oh and parking was a bit tight but wasn't a problem for us because we parked and walked every where once parked.

The view was incredible! That being said, the partial view would not be the way to go unless you really need the kitchenette. I originally booked the partial view, but upon seeing its location, requested to get a room with the full view instead. I highly recommend going for the full view. You will not be disappointed!

They are currently updating some areas of the property, but nothing we didn't like. It may feel a bit outdated for some but we didn't mind that look.
