Seashore Inn on the Beach Seaside

We chose Seashore because it was on the beach and we were not disappointed. The view, the sound were very good and the Promenade added to our time and experience. The room was adequate for us since it was just my wife and myself.

We thought the price was a little high - yet it met our desire to be on the beach. The breakfast was not the quality we expected especially for the price of the room. It was one of the poorest we've had in years. However, Swaside has very good selection of restaurants.

The location is to die for; the staff were so wonderful; my kids and I were so comfortable and felt at home; we have stayed in many seaside locations- this one is a favorite. They texted to check in and I really appreciated feeling like they cared. It was so nice from the room to the lobby to the staff to the pool and jacuzzi to the beach to the accessibility to the promenade.

It was simply wonderful. So there wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

Perfect for our stay. The bathroom drain wasn't working correctly when I got a text from the front desk asking if everything was OK with our room. I explained the issue and it was fixed immediately with a new drain! ALSO Sam @ the front desk carried my box of wood out to the beach for me! He needs a raise. What great customer service!

Wish there was air-conditioning

Wonderful location, close to beach, shops, food. I really thought it was a special (more personal) when I checked in online. Also received a text after first night asking how we liked it. I told her I wanted the sun to come out, it did about an hour later.

I think every room that faces the beach should have a v balcony for sitting outside. No outside break room for the employees. They congregated just outside our room which was right under the staircase. Although there was this cute outside patio, why not have afternoon happy hour there so it gets used?

Staff were amazing. They were welcoming, made us comfortable, and helpful at every turn. Location was excellent. Bedding was extremely comfortable. The fact that it was pet friendly was a huge plus.

Toiletries could be improved upon. Possibly a set, more in the toiletries that were offered, adding a shower cap, q tips, and maybe bandaids, just in case anything happens and you need a bandaid.

We booked a lower cost room without view and were upgraded to a room with corner window views of the beach. The bed was comfortable; the room was clean, and the shower had good water pressure. The location right on the promenade and close to restaurants and fun activities made this a wonderful value and a great hotel. I went out to watch the sunset on the beach. Someone was blowing gigantic bubbles and it was a fun memory.

Breakfast could be improved with a hot option. They did have cold French toast and bagels that could be toasted, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cold cereal and fresh fruit. There was plenty of food. This is a small issue, as the stay was great.

great access to the beach and walking distance to literally everything in town, the pool and hot tub was great on a chilly/windy day for the kids to get some energy out. staff was super nice and accommodating. also included some vouchers for feed the seals next door at the aquarium.

the breakfast left something to be desired but it was fine for the kids to have yogurt and a banana, and it’s included.

The location and room/hotel amenities were great! I liked having the fridge and microwave combo and the continental breakfast. The hotel had vinyl flooring which at first didn't seem appealing, but then made sense being so close to the beach it would be easy to clean up.

The only thing i didn't quite like was the room set up and lighting. The room we were in had an extra large foyer area outside of the bathroom but then removed space in the main bedroom area so one bed was against a wall. The table and chairs were in a dark corner and would have been better if the table was near the window where the natural light came in. The lighting wasn't very bright so it was hard to see in the room.

I really liked that the hotel was smaller and felt more personal. The location is perfect right on the beach, right on the promenade, right at the shopping. The staff was wonderful. It was the only hotel with outdoor seating right on the promenade. The breakfast was simple but good. DVD players and free movie library for commercial free fun in your room. Charming.

One side of the bed was a bit dipped from use.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent and the view of the ocean was great from our room. The hotel is almost on the beach, so it is easy to walk along the promenade, beach, and into town. The room was very clean and comfortable and the water was instantly hot. The shower had good water pressure and the products were good quality. We liked the mobile check-in and check-out and the way breakfast is being handled for the pandemic - you place your order the night before and pick it up. We slept well and will stay again. Staff were friendly and helpful and let us leave our car in the parking lot for a couple of hours after we checked out so we could take another walk.

As others have noted, the breakfast could be better and might be better outside of COVID. That being said, it is very rare to find a hotel breakfast that is actually good.
