Comfort Inn

The staff was incredibly helpful. Someone emailed me to ask about the accommodation that I had booked and what I had preferred. They were worried that by the time I got there that I would not have gotten the room I had intended. In all my years of traveling, not one hotel has reached out to me like this. Upon arrival, everyone was extremely nice, and the rooms were super clean. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck eating our dinner watching the river and train go by.

Breakfast was not put together at the designated time. My son was looking forward to the waffles. However, we did hang around long enough for that to fixed by the staff. Although the train was fascinating on the other side of the river, we could hear it throughout the night. Despite these aspects, I would stay here again because of the staff, the view of the water and location to our destination.

It was near a River and a train! Gave my husband an opportunity to get our and photograph both for a bit.🙂

The ONLY problem was the elderly staff member who worked Breakfast in the morning. She brought my husband who suffers from PTSD to tears when stopped to take advantage of a very nice warm breakfast. She rudely stated, “Pets aren’t allowed back here!” He had his certified Miniature Schnauzer Service Dog with him which had on a marked vest and leash. She wasn’t barking nor out of control. I didn’t take time to report it at the time because we had tickets for a timed tour for the Frank Lloyd Wright Waterfall House. But it took me at least 10 mins. to get my husband calmed down so we weren’t late! Not okay for anyone to make such a remark like that!

Had never stayed in this small Pennsylvania town, but it's quite charming. Hotel is on a beautiful river, and the town has character. Staff was kind and helpful, breakfast was a bonus and the room was more than comfortable. This hotel is very conveniently located near Fallingwater if any are looking to visit the famous Frank Lloyd Wright home and want to stay in a convenient hotel, this is an excellent choice.

Breakfast, eating area and outside seating area were great. Staff was friendly and happy to answer questions and make us feel comfortable. Great location near Falling Water and Ohiopyle State Park. We had been here before when Cobblestone owned it and had a great visit. We were glad to see that the quality and cleanliness was the same standard.

Nothing in particular. Train noise across the river was a bit annoying at times.

Provided amenities for cyclists riding the GREAT ALLEGHENY PASSAGE rail trail which is right outside the hotel. Bikes are welcome inside the hotel. There is a hose and rags for cleaning off muddy bikes. The breakfast included bananas, apples, peanut butter, all things cyclists need for fuel. A lovely back deck overlooks the Youghighney River. A lovely place to eat breakfast or your own dinner.

The view of the river from our room and the outside patio was beautiful! We were in town, because we were biking the GAP Trail, but we want to find another reason to go back just to stay at this Comfort Inn. It was also RIGHT off the trail, and they allowed us to keep our bikes inside.

That we can’t clone it for another stop along the trail.

This inn looks like it's not very old. Everything was beautiful. There's a dining patio that overlooks the river. It was very peaceful. The room was clean. The breakfast was great. Even offered a meat option which isn't common. I would highly recommend this place.

Not a deal breaker but they have a bar there which is great, but only 1 staff member on to do everything. Check ins, cleaning, any guest requests and bartend. She also didn't know how to make drinks that were on the menu. We had to wait a good 20 minutes at times for a refill because she was off tending to something else. Not her fault but poorly planned for a weekend when there's usually more guests. That's my only complaint.

This hotel does an excellent job of being available for the many cyclists that frequent the area. The location isn't the best, but they make the most of it, and I didn't feel unsafe being at the facility. Room was nice, food and drink available on site, and they met the needs of their customers.

Location isn't the greatest, but they make the most of it. Not a place where I'd like to take a walking tour.

At some point heard the train rolling quite close by on the other side of the ricer river which got me scared but it didnt come often and was low background in the end didint interupt sleeping

Great location, right on the Yough River! We had an awesome view of the river from our room. There was a beautiful patio area to eat breakfast overlooking the river and we enjoyed watching the ducks and the trains going past across the river. Friendly and helpful staff added to the experience and the bed was super comfortable! We will definitely stay here again!

There is a train that goes by quite a bit, but it really wasn’t a big deal.
