Melody Motor Lodge

I took the train to town, rode my bicycle out to the melody Motor Lodge from the amtrak. When I arrived, it was pretty late about 11:00 p.m., Staff was there to check me in, and the room air conditioning had already been turned on. Nice comfy bed, good mattress. Also, ample room for the bicycle in the room. I would certainly stay there again

I was double charged, had to call to follow up on this. Apparently at 9:00 p.m. some would have assumed I was a no-show so they charged my card through booking. Hopefully, this has been resolved

This is a true motel. You park outside of your room, which makes it convenient. Where I usually stay was booked, so I found this motel while looking for something local. After reading reviews, I knew this was not going to be a luxury stay. I also read that it was a comfortable stay. I took a chance and was glad I did. The room was small, but it did have a microwave and refrigerator, along with a TV. It had WI-FI, however, I didn’t need to use it. The bathroom was small, but clean. The shower had ample water pressure. The bed and pillows were comfortable enough. The check-in staff person was friendly. There isn’t any breakfast, but there is a diner behind the building. It is closed on Sunday, so I was not able to eat there. Overall, I was pleased with the stay and the price on Booking.com. I would stay there again.

The front door on my room had the screen missing. No big deal as I didn’t need to have the door open. You can’t control the air conditioner, so it was a little colder for me. The blankets on the bed were enough to keep me warm.

Clean, convenient,hot hot shower. Good basic motel,I for one don't want to pay for amenities like a swimming pool or stuff like that I'm not going to use, I just like a clean bed,a good hot shower a microwave,mini fridge and a television. This motel fits the bill for a overnight stop when passing through or a few days stay.

Room didn't have an individual heater,AC unit. If you want the heat or AC off your limited to adjustable wall vents

It was clean, quiet and affordable.

I have stayed there many times before with my dogs. I indicated in a special request that I would be traveling with dogs in order to attend a training. When I arrived, I saw that many "no pets" signs were posted. I had no choice but to stay anyway. My pets were quiet and I cleaned up after them but I left as soon as possible so that I would not be in violation of the regulation. I think I should have been told that the policy had changed. I had booked another stay for December and had to cancel it. I am disappointed that I will no longer be able to stay there in order to attend the dogs shows in Latrobe.

Other raters have mentioned it is dated, yes it is BUT it is very clean from the linens to bathroom to overall room. Bed was comfortable too.

The motel is a bit of a distance from the GAP trail off a busy road. My fridge was a little noisy during the night.

Clean bathroom and beds, rooms were maintained throughout the stay friendly people very close proximity to connelsville with nothing major much farther then 15 min will definitely rent again if back in the area

Beds little hard but comfortable

The single biggest factor that makes this motel my choice over and over again is that I can bring my dogs. I travel for dog shows and so this is important. It is usually clean and quiet, other guests are friendly without being intrusive. There is a microwave and a refrigerator, a good potty area for the dogs and a hiking trail nearby.

I have very few complaints. There was no electrical outlet in the bathroom. I knew this, having stayed there before and so I brought an extension cord, which worked out just fine.

Quiet, no loud people, nice location for my needs.

The color of the walls in our room was horrible

Clean, retro feel, great value for price. Office had snacks and drinks for purchase. They also had board games you could borrow.

The beds were comfortable. The room was clean and tidied up daily. I needed extra little things. They gave them to me readily. All the staff were excellent.

Being so close to the highway, motor cycles were sometimes loud.0
