South Broadway Manor

we were so lucky to stumble across this place while searching for a place to stay. It was absolutely amazing! So much history and it was all decorated beautifully with antiques but all very comfortable and functional. We stayed on the main floor and although it is open to the rest of home everyone has their own entrances as well so it felt very private. Pat was an amazing host and the breakfast was delicious each day! Beautiful outside area and gardens! We would love to come back one day, overall if you’re deciding whether or not to book, just book it! You will not regret it is unlike any other hotel you’ve ever been to!

Pat is very knowledgeable of the area and we love the "history" discussion at breakfast. There was a mix up of room from Booking.com (Pat had us arriving Monday and leaving Wed, but Booking was correct we were coming Sat checking out Sunday. She took care of us with no issues at all - even upgraded us.

When booking on Booking.com the ROOM NAME should be sent over as all the rooms are marked with individual names.

We were very impressed with the period decor and furnishings of the home and dining area. The breakfast was delicious and the host was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the history of the home and the city and surrounding area. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Our particular room could do with some editing - felt a bit tight for space. We noticed our room was comparatively smaller than the others. It did have a kitchenette and laundry that we did not require and would opt for another room on our next visit.

Breakfast was wonderful. Delicious food. Rafael accommodated our request for an earlier time. He couldn't have been nicer about everything.

The lock box entry method was a little confusing for me but figured it out eventually. Bathroom soap was skimpy, not enough for both of our showers. Countertop space was limited, but that's typical for a Victorian bathroom/bedroom, I think.

The decor, the breakfast, enough space to easily park the car, how well maintained the place is inside out. Friendly messages with instructions before my arrival.

There is nothing I did not like. I was the only guest and had the shared bathroom on the 2nd floor for me. Might be different when the place is fully booked, but must say everything there contributes to a rather unique character.

You never really know what to expect, but when we arrived, we were thrilled to find the accommodations so luxurious. We felt like we were transported in time to a beautiful mansion, perfect for daydreaming or a romantic stay. The owner Pat made this such a magical and inviting place to stay. So many details, from artwork and velvet parlour curtains, to snacks in crystal bowls, and a fully stocked kitchen, to a delicious gourmet breakfast. WOW. Just fantastic.

Breakfast was excellent with exceptional hot dishes and variety of cold choices. Location was convenient to Laurel Highlands (Falling Water, Kentuck Knob, Polymath Complex, Ohiopyle) as well as to Pittsburgh (1 hour away). The house has a fascinating history and the host was always willing to go into details of that history.

The only thing that would have improved the stay would have been a few more days there.

My wife and I were well taken care of at South Broadway Manor . The chef treated us to some beautiful scratch made breakfasts both days of our visit. The grounds were beautiful. The house was exquisite and the rooms were very comfortable. Pat Hill is a wonderful host.

I can’t complain about anything.

South Broadway Manor was absolutely beautiful, full of history and one of a kind antiques. Our host, Pat, was kind enough to provide us with the vast history of the previous family who built and owned the home for almost a century and how she and her brother developed it into a B&B. The breakfast was excellent. It was a nice, relaxing get-away.
