Tru By Hilton Easton

Location was great. We stayed here on a recent visit to the CF Martin Guitar Co. We chose Tru for its affordability, location and included breakfast. It was listed as a Continental, but ended up being a very expensive hot food bar with pancake maker, waffle maker, bacon, oatmeal, “cheese omelette” (the only item that didn’t taste great) and more. Pool was nice to have and there was an outdoor fire pit we saw a few people enjoying. Best amenity though was the gym - it was really great for a budget chain hotel (many machines for cardio and weight, kettle bells, medicine balls, hand sets and a video mounted screen for those who want guided yoga or HIOT work outs). . For those looking for recommendations nearby - Two Rivers Brewing was a great dinner choice and Stokes was perfect for lunch!

Loved the design of this hotel - from the extra hooks in the rooms, to the modern decor and thoughtful arrangement of workspaces. And while this seems silly, I also LOVED the fact that they didn’t skimp on cheap body wash, shampoo, or conditioner. They had the nicest products I’ve ever had in a hotel! And while I didn’t need it, they also had hearing impaired rooms, which I thought was such an inclusive idea. They also had a really nice outdoor space with a fire pit, which we enjoyed.

The breakfast selection was outstanding, but the hot food ( egg sandwiches/products) didn’t look too appetizing.

Easy access and close to good eating options. Our room had a microwave and fridge which made things more convenient. The breakfast was really good and the staff was very attentive.

Upon entry our room had a bad humid smell. However the housekeeping staff quickly came in and did a quick floor sweep and applied air freshener which made it a better. However as soon as we turned off the AC, the smell was gone, so it definitely had a smelly AC unit.

Tru was an unknown brand for us. We didn’t know what to expect, but chose it because it was newly built-within the year or so. (Often off interstate hotels look as though they have had a lot of wear and tear.) We were pleasantly happy with the experience. Clean, no nonsense room made up for the tight fit! Also liked knowing about suites for future family trips. Would definitely return to the brand, and recommend to others.

Would have liked a little more “wiggle” room. If staying longer (more than one night), a closet and larger desk/table and two chairs would have made time spent in the room more pleasant. As it was, the room was fine for a quick overnight stay.

Decor, both in the room and the common areas, felt new, bright, and modern and matched the web photos exactly. Our room (1 king-sized bed), while snug, did not feel too small, and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was good sized. Everything was VERY clean. Liked the squeeze-bottle toiletries! While we didn't eat the complimentary breakfast at the hotel, it was nice to have it offered. Same for the snacks and cans of of beer/soda on offer for one-off purchase!

Two very minor things: there was a small strobe that was probably a safety device near the ceiling that blinked every few seconds all night. Not a problem after I went to sleep, but I would have MUCH preferred it not be there. Also, I would have appreciated an extra outlet for charging devices near the bed. One side had free outlet space, but to charge devices within arms' reach on the other side, I had to unplug the lamp and alarm clock.

The location was perfect. Meghan at the front desk was very knowledgeable & super nice. Decor was great.

We were in 103 & the other guests let their room doors slam all night long including the outside access door. We did request 1st floor because my husband is claustrophobic & cannot ride in an elevator. And the smoke alarm has a strobe light that blinks every 30 seconds, I watched it from 3:30am-5:30.

Usually when I book a room online and get to the property I end up annoyed because they never meet my expectations but with Tru by Hilton I'm very satisfied at all levels...the front desk people were great ,the room was cleaning, the hotel is beautiful as shown in the pictures online....I just loved it there and will recommend it promptly to anyone going to Easton PA. Thank you guys for making us believe in great quality services at a hotel.

Staff was amazing. This hotel is so modern. Lots of lobby space. Fire pit is a plus. Lots of parking. One of the best hotels at such an affordable price that I have ever stayed in. And I have been in plenty over my years. We usually stay downtown when we come. But this is definitely our new go to hotel when visiting Easton. Akso very strict safety procedures in place. Pool time is scheduled on an hourly interval. Breakfast is pretty much grab and go but it is served to you by staff. Fyi... king rooms are small so if you are staying for more than one night I suggest you stay on the suite side of this hotel. I usually never leave reviews but this hotel was definitely worth it. 10 minute ride to downtown. 2 minute ride to target walmart Longhorn etc.

The room and facility was very nice and comfortable. The room and bathroom were nicely sized, the beds/pillows were comfy, and the television was a really nice and big Samsung flat screen. The overall aesthetic of the hotel was also very inviting and modern. It was definitely one of the better hotels that I have stayed at!

There was a room being very loud around 12 am with their door propped open. I feel like the front desk member never went to investigate it, even after calling down twice. I heard the people in the other room over my TV until 1:30 am. With quiet hours after 10 pm, I would have appreciated not having to hear another room for two hours late at night.

The property has everything you need and felt very reliable, if not a little basic. Facilities were clean and the staff were helpful.

The breakfast tried to be healthy, but could really do with some more healthy options, like fresh berries and fruit, for instance. Also, the walls are quite thin in the rooms and may affect your sleep if you’re a light sleeper!
