Hampton Inn Greensburg

I booked this room through booking at 11pm. I made sure to look at the check in/check out times. It said check out begins at 3pm, and check out was at 12pm. I finished booking and shortly after received an email saying that we could only check in until 12am. This was an issue because we were driving from Harrisburg and expected to be there around 2am. I called the property and spoke to a gentleman (I really wish I could remember his name). He advised that the night time audit was at 12am and that's why we needed to be checked in prior. He was very helpful on the phone and was going to try to help us, but then after calling someone to help him, he was advised to tell me to call booking to let them know what was going on. I called booking to see what we could do, but shortly after the call, I received a message stating that we would have to just go to the property and hopefully they could accommodate us when we arrived. We arrived at the property around 2:15am and the same gentleman was at the front desk. He said that he got it to work and had our room keys ready to go. He was very nice and extremely helpful! We got to our room, and the room was VERY clean and very comfortable. We had everything we needed for our stay! Thanks so much! Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful/Modern decor, crisp, clean and welcoming. Front desk area was open and pleasing to the eye, a peek into what’s coming. Very cool selection of snacks, drinks and adult beverages. Staff was beyond friendly and helpful, Deb was my fav but every single Hampton Inn employee I came upon was wonderful.!Breakfast nook/dining area was great and breakfast was scrumptious. Not the typical cereal, oatmeal and stale pastries, they had omelets, sausage, waffles and more! Our room smelled amazing, as strange as that sounds, not a chemical cleaning smell either, just smelled soo good and the room was super cozy. Very clean, beds comfy, only piece of dust to be seen was on the lamp and only OCD me could find that. The outdoor area and pool was perfection, crystal clear and perfectly maintained. Ohhhh, and the pool was heated!! Awesome fire pit relaxation area and sparkling pool, just the cherry on top! 100% our staycation getaway from now on!!

I just thought this was the cutest / convenient hotel / room for my short one night stay in Greensburg. it was perfect for what I was looking for for a quick overnighter. It felt very homy to me and the room rate was reasonable, and I also loved that my room was on the first floor just a short walk down the hall from the entrance so not too far a walk for my typical overpacking for a night. :) the front desk gal, Debbi, was so super sweet to me and very helpful as well. They were even able to accommodate me with an early check in and a late check out with absolutely no issue at all. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kerri K (Harrisburg, PA)

I think the outside facade is still being built (or remodeled??) so it looks messy at first glance, but inside it is clean, modern, and comfortable. I love that they ask you in advance how often you want housekeeping (I think it’s required every few days if you stay that long, but otherwise it’s optional). As a notorious night owl, I hate people knocking on my door at 8 am asking about towels when I’m trying to sleep! The shower is very clean, design wise and cleanliness level, and water pressure is that sweet spot of not too much and not too little. They also tell you all the things in the room that get disinfected - including that ever forgotten TV remote - and the mattresses are moderately comfortable even for a stomach sleeper like me. The staff is all super nice, without exception; I met many of them and they were all kind, courteous, and helpful.

The walls may be a bit thin; my neighbors had a screaming child and I heard it! Other than that, it’s in general a quiet property and I had no issues. (The picture I included was taken right before I left.)

Cleanliness, staff very friendly. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Check in was a breeze and when I requested my second room, receptionist was quick to get my key to me. Breakfast looked great although we were scheduled to meet with other people for it.

A bus pulled in after 10 pm with some sort of girls team. They were running in the halls, screaming and slamming doors. Apparently chaperones did not do a good job. Did not get to sleep until after 12 am and had to get up at 6 am. Not much sleep.

The breakfast was great! Hot breakfast selections as well as fresh fresh fruit and pastries. We loved the layout and decor in the room we stayed in for the night. We have been trying to get information on the brand and color of the floor in our room because we are remodeling our home and would like to put in the same flooring. If there is a way to get that information we would love it!

Great breakfast! Wonderful staff! We would definitely stay again. Actually when we were traveling back to Ohio from Florida in 2020 we stayed at Hampton Inn - it was during the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak. The staff at that Hampton Inn was wonderful and following all the guidelines during that time - we will always appreciate the staff there. Hampton Inns are the only place we will continue to stay during our travels.

Very nice stay all things considered. Staff were as accommodating as possible while following safety protocols. Was offered room service. Room was very clean and had been sealed. Free breakfast was sufficient with some healthy options and staff ensured it was served safely. Fitness facility was good enough--free weights, treadmill, and stairstepper. Room had a fridge and microwave. WiFi worked well. No problem with heat in the shower. Plenty of tv channels.

Air conditioning seemed to run low (room was always fairly cold). Couldn't get the tv in the fitness room to work.
