Hampton Inn & Suites North Huntingdon-Irwin, PA

The hotel was beautiful and very clean!! I loved almost everything about it!!! Great location!!!

I loved everything about this hotel except check in. They held over $700 on 2 cards making us have to cancel a few things we had planned. I called before we arrived to make sure we could pay for our room with cards because we were paying for 2 nights and the company was paying for 1 they told me it would be no problem not telling us that they would hold the total amount of our room plus security deposit on both of our cards!! Also they need 1 or 2 more waffle irons for breakfast!!

what I liked about the property was the friendly staff and the location of the hotel. I also like that my room was near the ice machine and elevator. The room was clean and updated , the bathroom was really clean and had all the fixings , ex: neutragena body gel , shampoo conditioner, hand soap , bath soap.

what I did not like was the room has NO microwave, now that sucks!!! I can’t stand a hotel that don’t provide a microwave the room to heat up your food. who wants to keep going downstairs to heat up food then take it back up on elevators where there’s germs and stuff. also the room was too small for my liking . it was a double Queen bed room , I started feeling claustrophobic I had to get out and get some air. last thing, the breakfast wasn’t good. first morning which was on New Year’s Eve it was omelett, and potatoes with no meat. I love my bacon , sausage etc.

Hotel has a nice swimming pool and the hotel is easy to reach. All other things as expected from that Hilton line.

Some strange but not really unpleasant smell in the room. The breakfast room was spacious but was closed with a bang exactly at 10:00 without being asked if one would need anything more from the buffet to round up the first meal of the day.

I really love the hot breakfast and the wide variety of options of food that I can choose from in the morning time. All the cold things were cold and all the hot things were hot and everything was fresh and I really appreciated the kind hospitality of the lady who was working the breakfast bar.

To be honest I couldn’t really find anything that needed improvement. I personally felt like everything was up to par. I guess maybe move the smoking area a little farther away from the main entrance?

So clean. The bathroom was huge. The bed was magnificent. Breakfast was nice and I loved the 24 hour coffee station in the lobby. Nice area for breakfast and lounging.

The staff was great except the maid knocked too early. I looked out of the door and saw her. Came back to bed and the maid tried to come in. My finger was pinched between the inside latch and the door briefly as I tried to let her in. I guess I should have put the do not disturb sign. But checkout was at noon. The knock was at 8:30 am. Also, my Mom fell over an ill-placed hassock in a handicapped-accessable room.

I liked the toiletries, the cleanliness, the availability of staff, and the size of the room. We had a king studio suite which was very nice.

I did not like the coffee maker in the room at all. I like strong coffee and always bring a few of my own K-cups when I travel. The coffee machine was NOT a Keurig which was disappointing. I had to start my mornings with weak coffee. I hoped for something better in the lobby. There was dark roast coffee there but it tasted bitter. Please, please, please modernize your coffee makers and purchase Keurigs. We were in PA for a death in the immediate family, and the last thing I wanted to do was stand in line at a coffee shop.

It was close to the turnpike, it’s a newer building and was clean, and their breakfast was well stocked. Also located very close to shopping and the gas station.

Our light in the bathroom and the fan didn’t work. Also, there is no microwave in the queen rooms.

There is always a nice selection of breakfast offerings. The prepared breakfast options are typically nicely done (although the oatmeal is usually a bit watery for my taste). Overall, the breakfasts are very satisfying.

The only negative feedback that I can provide relates to the housekeeping of my room upon check-in. Some of the common surfaces in my room appeared to have not been completely cleaned from the previous tenant (sticky soda/water rings on the desk, numerous greasy spots on the windows, etc.) The hotel common areas were very tidy and welcoming!

Breakfast was good. Should be open until 10:30 at least. Open a little later and stay open a half hour longer. It's hard to eat and check out all at the same time.

Everything was good. Had to get more towels since housekeeping doesn't come without asking. Was this a covid issue?

Chose primarily for the location. Property was clean and quiet, and the staff without exception was friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was ok - Not a fan of powdered eggs and the hot stuff was bland. However, there were plenty of other options and the fresh fruit was great.
