Staybridge Suites - Philadelphia Valley Forge 422, an IHG Hotel

I like the location it is very convenient. The hotel was clean and the staff were nice. The room was a nice size for myself or even when I bring my children. There was a small kitchenette so that made it very comfortable and made it so I was able to save a little bit of money. The breakfast in the morning was amazing and I loved that there was a indoor pool for when I bring my kids. I will definitely be staying here again.

Honestly there wasn’t anything during this stay that I didn’t like. But I will be sure to stay again on my next visit and write another review on that experience. With pictures and videos.

The breakfasts were varied and copious, and I had the pleasant surprise to learn that three dinners a week (Mon-Wed) were included. There are a lot of minor technical problems (locks, plumbing) which will be fixed in a general renovation starting end 2022, but in the meantime the staff were super - all complaints were rapidly attended to with a smile.

For people from abroad it would be nice to have cable TV or Youtube with foreign channels.

The staff at the hotel made a difficult time easier. Breakfast every morning was great, and Monday through Wednesday they provide free dinners along with free beer. We were there for 8 days and this kept our expenses low. We were able to reserve the pool twice and it was clean not overly hot and easily accessible. We had to put some things in storage oh, and they had storage room available and it was free. Despite the negative below, I would heartily recommend this place and we'll stay there again if we're ever in the area. The room layout was great we had a kitchenette and we had a pull-out sofa which did get used oh, and we had a queen bed which was comfy. Shower and toilet were in a separate room from the sink for the bathroom and there was a good size closet with plenty of hangers.

The bad, the furniture was dated and the TV was an older model which prevented us from streaming what we wanted. That being said given the price point we overlooked it and had a great time.

Free laundry service Continental Breakfast

Pets allowed and the way the billing system works if you're staying more than 7 days it should be explained that an additional charge will be added to your card pass the 7 days meaning you will have multiple charges on your credit card instead of one.

Breakfast was wonderful and has such a large dining area compared to most hotels. I didn't expect much because this location is an extended stay location which usually doesn't mean that any breakfast is offered. The daily hot breakfast was wonderful and exceeded my expectations. Also, the light dinner each evening during social hour was a very unexpected bonus!

Stayed there before. Good value and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Breakfast is a little later on Saturday & Sunday and doesn't cater for anyone going out early.

Location was between our families. Made it perfect for visiting

Breakfast choices. Waffle maker was not working. Egg choices all included peppers. I can't eat them.

The room was a very comfortable size and everything was clean. The Breakfast was excellent for what it is.

The only thing I could suggest as an improvement was to have an icemaker somewhere that is accessible to the people staying. I had to ask the gentleman at the front desk for ice.

It's pricier than other local options but you do get more. The kitchenette came in very handy as did a door between the bedroom and sitting room.

It took them more time than I had to get breakfast out, they don't have a lot of people on that. A sign of the times I get. The driveway has some real potholes.

Room was clean, but the cabinets appeared a bit worn and outdated.

It was 61° in that room when I walked in. You could have stored meat for months in the room. The thermostat was shaky, and it took several hours to stabilize the room temperature. Please fix that in room 226 for future guests. I was also sad that even a modest breakfast wasn't offered at 5:30 am, but it was Saturday morning, so I sort of get it
