Courtyard by Marriott Shippensburg

The staff here is OUTSTANDING! We loved the decor and size of the room. We appreciated all the accommodations, including the gym, pool and hot tub. The outdoor fire pit and patio area are amazing!

We didn’t like the tiny coffeemaker in the room and it was $3.50 for a plain black coffee. Although we appreciated the value of the room itself, there should at least be free-flowing coffee for guests. A larger coffeemaker in the room or a coffee station in the lobby.

We loved this hotel! Management and staff were outstanding! The location was serene and we liked the decor. The pool was refreshing and clean.

We were disappointed with the coffeemaker in the room and the cost of coffee in the lobby was extravagant. $3.50 for a regular black coffee. No free breakfast. On the other hand, the room price was extremely reasonable, so overall, we were very happy.

Location. Bed was comfortable. Quiet. Food and bar a available on site. Noon check-out is nice.

I was given a handicap room. tub was small with all the bars and equipment. I would have preferred a regular suite with a walk-in shower. I was told there were 2 large groups taking all the rooms. It was what they had left even though I made my reservation months ago. Pillows were too soft. and the mini fridge was more mini than most others.

The room was very nice. The staff was very friendly, especially Anne Smith in the restaurant. She made us feel welcomed.

The fact that I was double charged for my room. Mr. Steele was very helpful in explaining what happened and getting the refund taken care of.

I wish you would include Breakfast or at least a continental, our Friend stayed at another place because he had a dog and his breakfast was included. So this will be a factor for next time.

The facility was beautiful and in a great location as we were passing through PA. The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating.

It is right on campus of Shippensburg University, and it is a beautiful hotel. The lobby is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is not far from many places to eat in town either. The staff is also extremely friendly and very helpful! Love that there is a small gym, poop, and even a guest laundry room.

My only complaint is that the heat/ac vent in the ceiling does not work when we arrived. Our room was warm enough for us though and it did not get cold, so this was not a huge issue for me.

The property is about 40 minutes from Gettysburg and on the campus of Shippensburg University. If you don’t mind the drive, I would highly recommend staying here when visiting Gettysburg (or anywhere near Shippensburg). Check in was seamless and fast. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was huge, really! We had two queen beds and a twin-sized pull out sofa (we didn’t need this so I can’t comment on the comfort). The room was updated and very clean. Beds and pillows very comfortable. We had a microwave and a small fridge and coffee maker. There is a nice sitting area outside with a large fire pit. We did not eat here or use the bar area but it was very nice and clean. We highly recommend Courtyard by Marriott in Shippensburg!

The room was clean with a comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Awesome bar with tasty food. Nice, peaceful outdoor courtyard with a fire pit. Will absolutely stay again.
