Superb hospitality and attentiveness from the staff (issues were easily resolved in no time); the most comfortable bedding which led to the most peaceful slumber; beachfront at our doorstep (we stayed in the beach cottage); fantastic views from both the room and the private patio; lovely afternoon tea which was brought to the cottage via room service due to COVID-19; check-in was from our vehicle (manager came to us) and check-out was automatic due to COVID-19; loved that we walked into our beach cottage with soft jazz music playing from the radio (simple touches made a world of a difference); appreciated the turndown service; complimentary breakfast (wonderful selection) via room service; the most incredible dinner via room service (ordered the seared merlan, lobster roll, dozen oysters, clam chowder and carrot cake). In short, this well exceeded our expectations (culinary skills and hospitality could rival that of our beloved Solage Calistoga) and we will most definitely return if we are ever in the area.
