The staff was AMAZING. By far of all the hotels my friends and i have ever stayed in. The staff here were the friendliest and really seemed to do what ever it took to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. The lady that prepaired the breakfast bent over backwards to make sure you werent hungry. My friends and i are marathon runners and we eat a lot of eggs for the protine and she fixed up so many eggs for us and she seemed happy do to it. We would stay here again for the staff alone
The only down side to the stay was the non-smoking room smelled like someone that smoked 2 packs a day lived in the room for 20 years. We left our door open for half a day in hopes of calming the smell but it did very little. The only thing that would help would be a total gutting of the room and rebuilding it.

- The bed was too soft for me but it’s ok for my partner - For the room, it was very expensive, but I guess in Newport/Providence area the price was kind of high

The three freezer cooler items I had in the freezer of the refrigerator were missing when I was about to leave. The woman at the front desk found one but the other two were gone. Not a terribly valuable loss but an annoying one

The staff was very helpful and polite. The breakfast was excellent. They had scrambled eggs which are my fave, and many other choices: waffles, cereal, bagels, fresh fruit and activia yogurt. Their decaf coffee was the best I had outside Starbucks in 10 days in New England. I asked for early check in and they agreed.

I loved the accommodations- the continental breakfast was incredible and the staff were nothing but helpful and kind. I’d like to specifically point out the worker in charge of breakfast; I don’t remember her name, but she gave my partner and I exemplary service. She’s great!
