breakfast had a nice selection the buter was awful

My husband and I couldn't spread the butter on our toast! It was frustrating. There was butter in the refrigerator and packets on the counter but they were both hard. You couldn't get the butter out of the container even with a knife. You had to chip it out in pieces.

Went to check out Georgia waterfall, misjudged the time and distance (hotel to park) so the accommodations became a big part to the highlight of my trip. Still enjoyed everything very much.

Had a small drain snafu with the hot tub, but it didn't detract from my satisfaction of my trip. Just not enough time to enjoy everything.

Awesome hot breakfast w/ variety of option & automatic pancake “printer” was legit. Good bed/pillows. Quiet & calm. Dove brand bathroom supplies was a nice touch

Only gripe I could halfway make, and it’s really not even a gripe; the towels could’ve been softer/thicker/more plush as well as a little larger.

The decor, the comfort was great. Everything was just so nice. Love the hot breakfast the staff was outstanding!

I did not like the black mold on the ceiling above the shower in the bathroom. I think if the fan was fixed, it would be better.

It was very clean, the breakfast, the staff and the Scripture “Psalm 121:8 welcome sign,” was a breath of fresh air! That really warmed our hearts and made our day! My husband and I have never seen that type of welcome before! We also loved the town of Anderson!

Nothing, but the purpose of our trip was to adopt a puppy in Starr, SC and from now forward, we would prefer to take our puppy on our next trip, therefore, we would love Holiday Inn Express to be pet friendly.

The breakfast was amazing. Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The construction workers that hung out every night drinking right outside of the hotel. Made me a little uncomfortable.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the breakfast was FANTASTIC! Best biscuits I have ever eaten! High praise for the cooks!

No exhaust fan in the bathroom and a runny toilet.

the bathtub was sunken in, right in the center, so my feet were angled when I showered, and due to a very recent knee replacement, it was uncomfortable to say the least, plus the water never drained, just left a puddle of old bath water.

Asked for a late checkout. Not even considered. "Company policy not to do late checkouts" never experienced this before. Don't like it.

We stayed in room 218. All of the staff and the accommodations were very nice. The only exception to this was the bathtub. It was a safety hazard. The middle of the bathtub was sunken in, therefore there was no level surface to stand to take a shower. Because of the standing water in the sunken area, it was very slick (pink slime) when you stepped in. They obviously knew about it because a handrail had been added. But I believe it still needs to be fixed.
