Breakfast staff was great especially Mr Lopez!
I booked a room with balcony but when I checked in I was told there were none left and I was getting an upgrade. The upgrade was "a better view" but no balcony. The reason why I booked this hotel was specifically because I wanted a balcony, I work from home and the last thing I wanted was to feel trapped in a room over the long weekend.

It was a beautiful view of river
We checked in and the bed was broke so we had to take another room w/o a balcony and was told it would be 30 dollars less a night. Went to check out and was told we would have to go through booking.com in order to get refund of $90 for the 3 nights. I sincerely hope that I receive this refund since we did not get a balcony that we paid for.

It was mostly clean . A lot of noise late on weekends . I guess to be expected . Sounded like someone was sick in the hallway throwing up . Was disappointed no room service didn’t know u had to request it and no one told me until I had to call down for a replacement blanket cause of a stain from Previous guest . And they took a whole day and had to call down again for it . And room smelt musty .

The location of the hotel itself was difficult/confusing to access due to the street layout of Charleston--we had to cross the bridge on US 17 & make a U-turn to reach the street where the hotel was located! No grab bars in shower. Older folks need these due to balance issues.

I loved reception. The front desk staff were great! I’d never been to the area and when I checked in, I chatted with the receptionist who gave me lots of recommendations and discount coupons. Location was right on the harbor with a beautiful view, parking on site for free was incredible with easy access to highway and historic downtown. Air conditioning was awesome! Wi-Fi was perfect for working right in the room.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The hotel was quiet and a short drive to the historic district of Charleston.
The breakfast was not included with the room, the hotel charge’s additional fees. We didn’t have any view of the river side but that was expected as we didn’t pay for a river view.
