Comfort Suites Florence I-95

I’m not rating Comfort Suites because they overbooked & called us to say they sold our room. They own TRU Hilton next door and they got us an equivalent room there. TRU Hilton was wonderful (as I’m sure the comfort suites is as well). That area is great for a quick rest before continuing South. Very close to the highways & tons of gas stations/food etc …

Not the properties fault, but we arrived very late (3am) and were approached by a pan handler. We spoke to the front desk because he was sitting in their parking lot. By the time we came back out he was gone, but with our truck hauling my sons car and all of it packed with college supplies, the front desk attendant let us move our truck closer to the entrance “to be safe.” Parking lot is extremely well lit & I know this can happen anywhere so it really was nice of them to do that.

Beds where comfortable. Room was large for family of 6 adults. If with small children 7. T.V good working condition, everything organized and nice. Bathroom lovely. Air conditioning working strong in room can control yourself. Wifi great. Breakfast was delicious. Has pool. Has washing machine if need to wash clothes. Lots of parking.

Hallway of hotel has no air conditioning. But everything is clean and nice. They had fans running. Washing machine only 1 drier and 1 washer. Pool not to big, area was a mess from other families resently used. We still enjoyed it, but not enough towels and we left after another group family come. Pool needs maintance to keep clean. Breakfast needs to be more time was short from 6:30 to 9:30. Many family come down making line. Not enough eggs, bacon or sausage for them. I went down early so I got what I needed but my family told me there was barely nothing left. Now the bathroom in the room when flushing water did not fill tank fast enough. So I had to live it alone and go back later to flush when it was full. Was very slow in filling.

Good location. Spacious room, clean confortable. Fast check inn And the attendant was prompt and efficient. We needed more toiletries items like shampoo, conditioner, lotion and she provided for us right away.

The only thing I can pinpoint is that Breakfast was missing more hot items like fresh oatmeal, potatoes and the bacon should be more crispy not soggy and grease Other than that all good.

The location to amenities, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable.

1-The flood that caused the loss of water off and on, on our first day. 2-Someone had broken off the 2nd floor button in one of the 2 elevators, so we had to ride to the 3rd floor and walk down. The staff was aware, but made no attempt to alert the guests of that issue. 3-Parking is limited.

The Comfort Inn was in close proximity of family. Parking was good. The room was very clean and spacious. The refridgerator and microwave were in working order. The bed was nice and high, and very comfortable. The sitting area was a relaxing spot to sit and chat. Best of all, the toilet was the right height.

Good location. Quiet Nice pool area. Staff overall was very friendly and helpful. The pool went down but they tried to accommodate us and see if we could use the pool at the hotel next to us.

Breakfast was “okay”. Housekeeping staff, some are lacking. Needed towels, went to the room the housekeeper was working in, she’s sitting on the dresser, playing on her phone with air pods in her ears that she couldn’t even hear me.

My husband and I were very happy with our stay. The cleanliness and facilities were great. We were happy to see some breakfast sandwich options because many hotels just have cold packaged items.

The bathroom could have used a towel bar. Also there were multiple signs that masks were required, but hardly anyone was wearing one, including the hotel staff. I prefer no masks and was okay with people not wearing them, but if a majority of the staff aren't wearing masks either, please take down the signs.

The breakfast was disappointing. I understand that it was scaled back because of covid. However, the breakfast area was not stocked adequately. We went down to eat fairly early and there were no bagels and very few other items. We also had to ask for cups.

The breakfast area should have been stocked properly and the room temperature was too hot. We turned on the air, but it blew out lukewarm air.

Breakfast was very light. Very little selection,small amount of what was put out.seemes like some left overs. Bagels and muffins wrapped from day before. Could have been much better for a little effort...

Everything was just great took my grandchildren there to swim they had a great time great hotel everything was clean staff was very friendly breakfast was great all around great trip I will go back there again by
