Tru By Hilton Florence I-95

The property was in a great location convenient to everything we were there for. So it worked for us. The last who checked us in upon our arrival was very friendly (Asian lady) a little after 3pm. The breakfast as good in the morning and the lady which I’m assuming was the manager was very friendly and kept it clean and sanitized. The bed was comfortable as well.

The downside party is the water pressure in the room sucked and the shampoo and conditioner they provided was out like if housekeeping didn’t refill it at all. Upon checkout the lady at the front was very rude as we were trying to ask her a question about checking out and to also make them aware of what was wrong she was busy on the phone and just waived us off as to leave the key in the basket , I should of got her name but I said let me just go because her attitude was rude for customer service .

not much to complain about the “Tru” concept of Hilton, apart that they are getting a bit too pricey, at times more or less indifferent front office staff, primarily in the southern US. Impeccably clean as usual, but NOT all created equal….. some people still like to read books of magazines before going to bed, the lack of reading lamps was obvious, but not the «  5th degree 150 Watt /LED lamps over the bed need to go. Mr Manager perhaps you should leave your office on a while and go on a tour! Will NOT return there, to Florence, SC

Price, location and good parking lot

There are two car chargers available, which is unmonitored guests are just plugged in around in evening and do not bother to remove when fully charged, they only show up next day while checking out. Hotel should impose some time for charging say 4 hours and unlock it from the car so that others can use. As there will be an increase in EV, having more chargers would attract the customer and can become selling point. If the cost is too much, you can make it pay and use.

Staff was extremely friendly, all of them we encountered spoke to us. Breakfast was more than adequate. Coffee was good. We liked the convenience of having a variety of snacks etc. to buy in the lobby. We also appreciated the walk in shower in the room, good for 73 year olds.

No towels in the pool area. We were told at the front desk we did not need to take room towels to the pool so did not. We got in and got wet but no towels were left to use. Did not want to walk to the front desk, soaking wet to ask for towels so sat and dried a little before returning to the room.

Clean and great breakfast . Morning staff very friendly. Great location.

Afternoon staff very rude. Don’t even look up to acknowledge you. Also issues with their fire alarm twice during the night,resulting in a terrible nights sleep

Location was great! Right off I-95! When it was time to head out it was easy to fuel up and hit the highway! Definitely on the radar for the next time I drive to Florida.

I really cannot think of anything that could have been done better. I was created when I entered, given bottles of water upon check in and the desk staff was friendly and helpful. Really can’t ask for more!!

The rooms are different than a traditional hotel room in that there are no drawers to store clothes, coffee makers, and there are no microwaves. But there is storage space under the beds at the foot of the bed for suitcases. A really nice and different touch are wall mounted containers of body wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion and it’s not the cheap stuff other hotels provide in the tiny bottles. The full hot breakfast was good. And there was a pool table in the lobby as well as your traditional workout room. Lobbies are fully stocked with every snack you want at reasonable prices. They also offer adjoining rooms which can be hard to find at hotels. The rooms are uniquely design with bright colors and the window shades totally blocks out any hint of outside light when you truly need to sleep. I enjoyed my stay and every staff member I encountered was extremely nice.

I didn’t like the fact that room servicing is done by request; I overlooked that memo. Any guess staying over one night should be made aware of this during checkin.

That the pictures on the site actually matched the facilities physical expectations. Staff was great, friendly and helpful. Facility is clean and looks like a new construction but has actually been opened for a few years now. Hopefully if they continue to keep the upgrades and maintenance, this place will always be a beautiful stay.

We had no complaints. Everything was what we were promised on site.

Oh my word the food was amazing, the game area was fantastic, the beds were comfortable, the sitting area was bomb, the fitness room was great, the night time snack area was fabulous, the showers were relaxing, EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS HOTEL STAY WAS PERFECT beside the check in guy that was rude to me.

It was the night time gentlemen that checked me in that was very rude and very unpolite towards me the night of my check in,but everyone else was understanding and polite and truly helpful from the night of check in. Truly would stay in this hotel a million more times.

Breakfast was excellent! A pancake machine and nice sausage. good oatmeal.

If Booking had made my reservation right away I wouldn't have had to wait for my room and call booking customer service. A bit of a bummer but the Hilton guy super nice not their fault.
