Holiday Inn Express - North Augusta South Carolina, an IHG Hotel

The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the staff very friendly and willing to help in any way possible. The breakfast ladies did a great job of keeping hot food out. They are to be commended

Understanding the problem with getting enough help, I think the GM did a good job of keeping the rooms clean. Some days it was a hit or miss deal and we had to get some more towels. The front desk staff was always friendly and got them very quick. I quess this isn't something I didn't like but

Very clean room and throughout the hotel. The staff was polite and helpful.

No room on the first floor. My wife and I are in our 60's and don't do well on stairs. Another thing I didn't like was that the dispensers in the bathroom were filled and no hard soap was available. With the craziness going on in the world, the option of having soap bars is paramount for safety since others can tamper with the dispensers.

Very quiet except the time mentioned above, amazingly comfortable bed, very clean and visually attractive facility and room, tasty eggs and bacon for breakfast, room was very close to my handicapped parking, friendly and efficient staff. Also, the electronic room- darkening blinds are great for sleeping in. I've stayed here numerous times and will continue to do so.

My room (106) became very noisy around 6:30 AM and this continued until close to my check out at 11. I think the breakfast preparation area may be right next to the walk-in shower/ accessible room?? However, I've stayed in this room on numerous occasions -I simply bring my sound machine (forgot it this time). No grits at breakfast.

The breakfast was wonderful.

We had the misfortune of hearing the wind most of the night; however, that was not in control of the hotel... just our bad luck to be in that room. The hotel manager awarded us points for our inconvenience (and sleeplessness), so we felt rewarded for making them aware that the backside of the hotel may not be a good location for guests when the wind is an issue.

The receptionist checking us in was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was extremely nice. Check out was easy. The location was close to the interstate and had several fast-food restaurants close by. Would 10/10 recommend staying at this hotel.

We stayed for 3 nights. Housekeeping came we told them we was due to check out on that Monday. So we left out for dinner and when we came back they had deactivated our room keys when we clearly booked for 3 nights. They need to take the time and look at their information before just deciding to do what they thought was right! :(

You could improve on the check in system if someone is traveling hours and hours away and get there an hour or so before check in it would have been nice to accommodate them instead of making them wait two hours in there car. My wife has worked in the hospitality business and knows rooms can be moved around to accommodate guests

As always...I really enjoyed my stay at The Holiday Inn Express! The breakfast staff and night shift front desk staff were outstanding. Ty was very helpful and accommodating. She saw me struggling with the towels I requested and without hesitation, grabbed a plastic bag for me to carry them upstairs in. This chain never disappoints when it comes to cleanliness. Everyone that I have stayed at has been almost spotless. These are some of the reasons why this is my #1 choice of hotels when we travel out of town no matter where we go. The staff is always friendly, breakfast is good, and it’s always clean!

It was a couple of issues with the towels. 1. One evening they only had hand towels and wash cloths available. 2. The lady at the front desk (day shift) wasn’t the friendliest, and stated that we had to turn in our used towels in order to get fresh ones. We had already been there for 3 days and had a pile of towels in our room. She said that someone would come up and they never did. We’ve never had an issue coming and getting fresh towels. I thought that was a little odd.

Breakfast ok and location good being closest to the venue we were working event.

The price was outrageous as this hotel does blocks of rooms for our venue location and would not acknowledge same as we were working for the performing group.

The staff was great from the moment I walked through the doors until the moment I left. Breakfast was good would have loved a waffle though. I wish they had a pool table or something but other than that it was a well worth it stay.

Nothing major to dislike.
