La Quinta by Wyndham Rapid City

The property is in a convenient location, and is beautiful, very modern and clean. The beds were inviting and comfortable. There was a big TV and clean well laid out bathroom. The fitness room is open 24 hours and has lots of options. The indoor water park looked amazing although we arrived to late to enjoy it. They welcomed our pet kindly The value on a Sunday night was outstanding, even with the resort fee. The front desk staff was the most courteous of all our stays this road trip. Our favorite stay of the week!

The only thing we didn’t love was the limited breakfast. It also closed earlier than at most hotels and when we got down there just before 9, they were already out of pancake batter. The seating area is nice though and it was a comfortable setting. I assume the breakfast closes earlier here since it is adjacent to the water park and they likely have to prepare to serve the park goers.

We have stayed here several times now and we have been very happy. the beds are comfortable, bathrooms are always well stocked and clean, plenty of space for our large family to spread out and not trip over all of our luggage. We all love the water park and ability to enjoy a cocktail in the bar while keeping an eye on our older kids from inside.

the only complaint we ever have is that there is always some kind of loud commotion in the halls or room next to us. Our first stay we were woken up several times by a group of (I assume early 20s or teens) people fist fighting and screaming in their room. We called the front desk as we have small children and the other guests were asked to leave and we were comped passes for the next day to the water park. this stay we could hear kids running around in halls. no fault of the hotel, however. Kids should be supervised and adults should be responsible for themselves. The staff has handled situations wonderfully.

The room was very clean and with updated modern decore. Each day we left in the morning and upon returning in the afternoon the room looked just like it did when we first checked in. Housekeeping was outstanding.

I must not have paid attention to this being a pet-friendly hotel. I was at first taken back that so many people had their dog(s) with them going up and down the hallways. At times I had to move out of their way, really. Also, there was a constant chlorine smell in the hallways mostly due to people walking back and forth from the water them park all wet and barefooted.

The hotel was pet friendly. We got a room on the ground floor near a side exit. There was a small fenced in dog area and a walkway along the side of the hotel with poop bags avaaible.

Only one place to eat without getting in the car. The Perkins was so understaffed they stopped seating people at 730pm and would, it take takeout orders online or by phone. The hotel is on the edge of town so food options were frustrating,

The price and room were just right. We loved our stay. Such a beautiful place to stay. THE ROOMS ARE HUGE AND SPOTLESS. PLUS THEY ARE PET FRIENDLY. I SLEPT GREAT, AND I WOULD HAVE SLEPT IN IF I DIDN'T HAVE TO HIT THE ROAD. I am probably going to stay there again on my way home, if I go by there. I'M NOT SURE WHERE THE YELLOW BRICK ROAD WILL LEAD ME YET..... LOL

This was a very wonderful stay and I have no complaints about it at all. This exceeded our expectations and more. JUST A WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL PLACE AND GREAT PRICE..

The room was so clean and spacious! We were pleased with how clean everything was. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were always incredibly professional and courteous. They assisted with any question or Issue that arose. We loved the indoor water park! My husband originally thought it was closed, and was pleasantly surprised to see it was open. It was super easy to get there through the hotel and we were provided a discount code for the water park from the hotel.

The parking lot was a bit hectic and with two small children in tow, it was a little hard to navigate.

Staff was very accommodating. A very clean room and great hospitality. The price was more than I thought it would be. The water park is a disadvantage because you have to pay daily and then no pool.

Not their fault, but the extra people from events caused police to be called a few times. Overall a great place to stay

Hotel was comfortable and had usual services. There was construction for a water park that is to be co-joined with another hotel chain adjacent to La Quinta. parking lots were full and noise from construction of adjacent hotel went into the evening. this hotel is dog friendly and there were walkways for walking them. given the large size of this hotel and arrangement of parking lot, there were not enough carts to help people get luggage in and out.

The staff was friendly and helpful, so that every extra question was answered. I liked that the room was tidy and organized, with beds soft enough for a sweet sleep. Also, the room was quiet. The heating/cooling system ran smoothly, without forced air or machine noise.

I wish there were better signage at the road. This hotel is in a complex of several hotels and there are no markers for which driveway to take and where to turn.

The room was very nice. Clean and cleaning girls very nice. The guy that checked in with wax very friendly and funny. He reminded me of Abe Lincoln. Very Friendly, glad to see that hot fresh breakfast was back and better than ever.

The outside light so bright even up on the 4th floor. But understandable. Second night I booked the girl at the front desk told me that i didn't need to reprogram my key and at 10pm when I was ready to go to bed, I had to get key programed and staff was having computer issues. The side door didn't lock up right getting stuck on rug anyone could walk in. Needs security.
