Sleep Inn & Suites Rapid City

We were grateful for comfortable beds and pillows. And due to health issues, my boyfriend couldn't attend the funeral we were in town for and the manager allowed us a later check out. He has cancer and was not feeling well. Thank you for your compassion. Restores a person beliefs in humanity.

Same breakfast every morning

The staff was helpful in so many ways, places to eat, directions downtown Rapid City. Firehouse Brewing for dinner. I will recommend Sleep Inn to anyone who plans to visit area. Mary and me Thank you. Patrick McElligott

Breakfast was quite tasty!

I liked the comfort of the bed and the size of the room although we weren't in the room for very long (arrived late and left early). The size of the bathroom was good. I also appreciated that Rapid Shuttle is "vouchered" for transport to/from the hotel. This was helpful on a late evening arrival into Rapid City when we couldn't find a Lyft.

I notified the front desk that the walk in angular shaped shower was a slipping hazard. The acrylic floor was VERY slippery and there were no shelves or safety bars installed anywhere in the shower. The breakfast was okay, very busy and not a lot of healthy selections. I didn't like that the "vouchered" aspect of the shuttle ride turned up on our bill as a $37+ charge. I had the impression that the shuttle service was free and we tipped the driver substantially under this assumption making the transport (which was indeed the only option) a bit more expensive than anticipated.

Clean, quiet, great staff. Perfect bed - I slept for 8 hrs straight!

The hotel and staff were great , location was good , beds comfortable , facility was clean .

Finding out that the Rate quated me was well over the daily rack rate offered by the hotel . In speaking with other guests i found that ALL of them were paying between $107-$137 per night . At the time of booking (more than 2 weeks out ) i was given a price of $197 which is $60 over the average rack rate of $137 . That alone is a $360 savings ???? In addition the rate rose to $227 on Friday because of a ( Weekend rate ) which the hotel stated was still $137 .... WTH? I Know now that if i would have called and canceled 48 hours before checkin date i could have books my 2 rooms for as low as $137. I would like to have someone at Booking . com reach out to me with some sort of SENSIBLE explanation of Where that extra money went ......I kniow it didnt go to the hotel!! Bob Smith

Clean, comfortable. Pretty basic, Easy access from the highway (I90). Desk staff were nice and helpful. Quiet as well - we did not hear noise from other rooms or the hallway for the most part.

A little shabby, showing it's age and use. No daily service - we were on our own to make beds and such, and needed to request towels and other supplies if needed, otherwise no one checked the room. I attributed this to staffing issues. Breakfast was acceptable but nothing to write home about. Pre packaged muffins, biscuits and gravy, coffee, cereal - that was about it. The exercise room was ok, some equipment did not work. (I use the cycling equipment daily, and the bike was not usable)

Breakfast was as expected... it was good. The lady at the desk when checking in was very accommodating and friendly and helpful. The "fitness room" equipment was sparse and not the best... but it worked for the time I was there.

Cost of the room was more than I have paid in the past for a Sleep Inn.. . but understanding that recent inflation has raised prices at all hotels. Other than that I don't have any complaints.... My first time in Rapid City.... so the rain is something that was unusual. I am from the desert in Arizona. We don't get much..

Our room wasn't cleaned for 3 days. I filled out a request and I personally talked to housekeeper. The hotel said that team was new for housekeeping. They would give me all supplies that I needed for my room. When I am guest at the hotel, I shouldn't have to go and speak with General Manager and be told that she is sorry. Just get my room cleaned. Overall friendly staff but training is needed to get all teams on the same base.

Exceptionally beautiful room and bathroom. Thisnplace exceeded the price point. We were very pleased.

Workout facility had rickety/broken equipment.
