Fairfield Inn & Suites Sioux Falls

The room was very clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and I drifted off to sleep almost immediately after a 500+ mile road trip. There was a volleyball team of pre-teen girls and I thought I’d hear running in the halls and laughing, etc. I did not hear a thing. Breakfast in the morning was perfect. The Texas Roadhouse is within walking distance.

It’s in an industrial type area.

Breakfast was fantastic, best one I’ve ever had in a hotel. Was glad that breakfast was served until 10. The comfort was amazing, my back didn’t hurt the following morning. The staff was truly professional, though kind and personable. Check in was made simple.

I had to get ice but it was on the first floor-kinda, inconvenient. I bought a small pizza to cook in the microwave but there wasn’t any paper plates to use and I ended up having to throw it away-was to expensive to do that. I also bought a Twix bar and it was extremely stale, couldn’t eat it. Than there was a huge amount of kids at the hotel and they really made a tremendous amount of noise, even just passing by in the hall way. These were the issues worth mentioning.

The facility was in line with my expectations for a Marriot property. I know that when I select a Marriot Property, I will be completely comfortable. I also appreciate (because of very recent stays) the fact that Marriots are NOT owned by people who franchise.....the properties go way down in service, cleanliness, value and overall safety.

Bookings Inc allowed me to rent a room with two queens, which I needed. When I arrived, the front staff told me that they were sold out of double queen rooms, and that they were confused as to how I was able to book that kind of room. So we had to roll in a twin bed for my traveling friend. Not the property's fault.

The staff was sincerely nice and accomodating. They went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. We even checked in early to a clean room with everything ready to go. The hotel has just about everything you would need for a great stay. From the pool, the workout room to a fully stocked breakfast area. There was a soccer team in and outside of the breakfast room, but there wasn't a shortage of anything. They did great!

Difficult to find as was a winding road behind several other hotels off freeway plus road construction going on.

Needed more vertical grab bars in shower stall. Hard for standing person with bad arthritis to get into the "accessible" tub without help.

Really good location. Very quiet room and friendly staff. Beds were super comfortable and the King room was a nice size. Only minutes from downtown and good restaurants. Coffee in reception are was good quality

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Hot breakfast. Super helpful staff. Easy access to the highway. Close to Texas Roadhouse. Indoor pool.

Front desk staff was great! Very friendly! Room was clean and quiet. We liked that coffee/tea is always available. Although we didn't have the breakfast, it smelled good!
