It was only coffee nothing special

The communication between management and me. Especially when I was told by prior General manager that , I was was allowed to rent rooms again, and that , I've been a good, valued customer, that didn't cause any trouble since August 2022 . Not only did I LOSE my deposit and room i rented that day that was already paid for., I was kicked out and had to go buy another room somewhere else.

The renovations looked good. I liked that there wasn’t carpeting. The air conditioner worked really well. The bed was just the right amount of firmness. The water pressure in the shower was high and the hot water temp was consistent. The extra USB plugs on the wall was useful. Options on bedside lighting; lamp shades and IKEA type focused lightening on a short gooseneck. The main door has tap cars key access which made it easy to get in, locked immediately when door closed. The door was solid and had an impressive bolt system. Felt safe.

The amount channels on TV. A few more options would have made it better.

Most comfortable bed ever slept in at a motel. Very complimentary colors of furniture and bedding. All nicely matched. Loved the rain shower head. Felt as though I was showering in the rainforest. Table for placing cooler was nice. The sink was beautiful with a lovely faucet easy on and off. The sink drain plug was quite special that flips either way when you press the edge of it to release the water. Loved the shower doors where you don't have to worry about adjusting a shower curtain to keep water from spilling outside. The design on the bathroom door is beautiful. The room overall was quite clean.

The two paintings were quite lovely but were permanently hung upside down in room 268 where I stayed. What knucklehead was hired to do this job!!! The two chairs were nice but the bottoms were very soiled with food and beverage stains. It would have been better to purchase chairs which could be easily wiped down rather than ones made of cloth which require professional cleaning. Many hotel guests could care less about keeping things clean in consideration of the next person coming behind them. The window dressing was nice but it needed to be a tad bit wider to adequately cover the sides of the window. I was traveling alone and felt a little insecure.

The location is nice. A lot of cops patrol around the parking lot so your safe. Plenty of quick food options. The room was newer and the shower was great

The laundry and house keepers don’t speak English. It’s super hard to get fresh towels. The house keepers never stopped by the room while we stayed to check to see if we needed anything or to get trash. We stayed almost a week and not one time was we checked on. We had to carry our own trash to the dump. We also had to carry our dirty towels and linen to the front desk and ask for more. And they would say they didn’t have any or to ask the house keepers which they couldn’t understand you.

I had an issue with our toilet not being able to flush. my husband and I had contacted the manager who sent maintenance to our room, the problem was assessed and we thought it had been fixed. well a couple hours later we had the same issue. this was in the middle of the night when maintenance was off duty so the women in the office changed us to a different room. she even assisted in moving our belongings with me as i was down with the flu and my husband was at work at this time. We stayed for 2 weeks and hand a wonderful stay. will definitely stay again in the future.

The bed and the shower were awesome! Those two alone are worth the money. You do get what you pay for. No frills. There is no coffee pot in the room. But I believe there’s coffee in the office. There is no hair dryer. But there is soap and shampoo. I was confused by there being no carpet in the room but I believe they are still doing renovations.

I am a smoker myself, it was pretty gross to see cigarette butts along the walkways. I adhere to the “leave no trace.” My butts go in the trash. Maybe provide a place for people to discard their butts.

Rooms were clean breakfast was nice all around good experience

It’s an affordable place to stay; it has an amazing rain shower head; love the bed and the contemporary decor; love the sink and counter; there are reading light and phone charging inlets by the bed.

There needs to be some hooks for towels in the bathroom; the window shade is not long enough to cover the whole window and people can see into the room walking by which is disconcerting to me; a full length mirror would be nice to have; and there is debris outside in the parking lot way in the back.

I can not say enough about how this hotel exceeded my expectations. Upon arrival, I was pretty happy about the look of the hotel. It is tiny and quaint looking, and you can feel the welcoming atmosphere as you turn into the small entrance. When I went inside the young man that greeted me was so kind, and he stood to talk to me. As we checked in he looked me in my eyes, and spoke kindly. I was really impressed when we told him what we were going to do and he instantly looked up times and openings for us. When we went into our room, I instantly loved it. The extra blanket I'd requested was sitting there, and the room was so modern chic. I took photos and had to share them right away. My kids loved that the key entrance was just held in front of the keypad (vs sliding it in). I won't go on and on, but everything about this hotel stay was the most comfortable I've had for a long time, if any that was this great. I would recommend this little spot and will always choose this as my go to when staying in Chattanooga. Beautiful rooms, kind employees, welcoming atmosphere and great little spot to stay in. The only thing I can think of that could have been better is an ice machine, but I also didn't ask about it. I didn't see one any of the places I looked...but there is a gas station across the way within less than a minute walk away.

Friendly staff, great location with many food choices nearby. I thought we would hear some road noise being in the middle of town, but that wasn't the case at all. I have never seen a door like the one's the rooms have here. Very very sturdy with heavy duty locks. Linens, flooring, down to the kleenex holders were all new and fresh and CLEAN. The value was unbelievable also as most hotels really jack up rates on weekends but Stay Express rates were excellent for a weekend night. Cheaper than I can get in my area and we don't live close to any attractions. The Hamilton Place mall is only about 9 minutes away with tons of fancier restaurants and shopping. Loved our stay and will stay again!

I can't really think of anything major. There is some construction in the parking lot which makes checking in a little tight but that's being very nitpicking. Oh, they have coffee in the lobby but no donuts or breakfast from what we saw but since covid, I don't wanna be touching tongs that others have anyway so not an issue for us.
