Red Roof Inn Clarksville

Night manager Tom was exceptional. Booking.com had dropped the ball. We paid Booking and the money was taken. When Booking sent the virtual card it was bad and declined. Our reservation was cancelled an hour before we arrived because of this. We arrived and Tom got on phone with Booking.com. Booking.com wanted to have Red Roof make us wait 3 or 4 hours until the fifth (our reservation was for fourth). Tom was awesome and worked hard. He managed to get us to our room, and he dealt with Booking.com through the night to get things situated.

Pillows were small and not very comfortable. Bed a bit in stuff side. But, aside from that, Red Roof Inn will remain as a go to. The only part of the trip we didn't like was the issue we had with Booking.com.

large spa tub was clean! the whole room looked great & for a smoking room it didn’t smell like a ash tray! I stay in this room at least once a month. (I’m a smoker but I’ve used the non smoking room and it’s great too) the Wi-Fi works great with my roku so setting it up is easy. The staff is always amazing & I personally think the price is fair.

sometimes there’s sketchy people around but that’s out of their control. just lock up the cars(:

Room was clean with pleasant air quality; no problems with bed; beware of the hot water as it's not messing around. Very good water pressure in the bathroom fixtures. Front desk was helpful getting me switched to a non-smoking room after I must've lost my mind and booked a smoking room by mistake. Read your confirmation emails! That's the take-away.

Frankly, it met my expectations and even went a little beyond.

The employees were wonderful and thoughtful and helpful. No pet fees!! The bed is super soft so took some getting used to since other hotels are a little firmer but once I got accustomed it was wonderful.

Some places in the room were dirty like in the bathroom there was alot of pet hair on the walls and corners of the floor. The price is a little higher then im used to. Absolutely hate the parking. My room is right at the top of the stairs but I found myself having to park on the other side of the building because all spots were taken or people with uhauls or trailers would park side ways and take up 7to9 parking spots and thats not ok.

The room was very clean. And spacious. We had accidently booked a smoking instead of nonsmoking and they quickly fixed it for us no questions asked. And the parking lot was well lit.

We did not try the breakfast. We had our own in our room. But I'm sure it was fine. Other than the waterline being noisy at nite if someone got a shower in another room. There's really no complaints.

Clean Coffee in lobby. Checked in early with no problem.

Check out not so good. Could not give me a receipt even though they provided one at the end of my stay a week before. Both bookings made through booking.com. desk attendant said booking.com would email me a receipt with 2 hours of checkout but it is over 22 hours later and I still have no receipt.

The king size bed was amazing! Where do hotels get their pillows?! So comfortable! I had an end unit on the first floor which was so convenient for unloading and getting my dog in and out. The property was so well lit even in the back parking lot, so I felt super safe. The gal that checked me in was so upbeat and friendly and helpful. The check-in was quick and seamless. When I asked her if there was a park around where I could walk my dog, she told me about Dunbar Cave State Park, which was only about 2 miles away. The woods were just beautiful and a relaxing place to walk with my dog after a long day on the road.

The refrigerator in the room did not have a freezer part. But the next morning I found out that the whole refrigerator was a freezer because all my food was frozen! I find that all hotel refrigerator/freezers can all be a bit finicky. There wasn’t a lot of grassy area to walk my dog and no bags were provided for waste. Again not real necessary since I had my own bags and we walked to the park.

The proximity to everything, the mall, shopping and food. It was clean and affordable. Pet friendly!!!

A bit noisy, but that’s because of location to the interstate. Not much can be done about that. Lack of channels - also didn’t watch much tv.

I was traveling alone. I appreciated the fact that the receptionist did not say my room number or parking location out loud when I was checking in (because there were others in the lobby and it was later in the night). My room was on the bottom floor and I could move my car items indoors nice and easy!

The rooms were comparatively spacious. The room looked mostly new. It's priced competitively. And, I did enjoy the bed.I

I thought the water temperature & pressure could have been better. Wasn't particularly impressed with the shower head.
