Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Dickson, an IHG Hotel

Location was great. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly.

We booked a queen suite (2 queen beds and pull out sofa) weeks in advance. On arrival, we were told there was only a king available(1 king bed and 1 sofa). We were offered a small roll away, which was ok for comfort. There was a lot of road noise, being beside the interstate. It sounded as if the window was open. Overall, ok choice for what we needed that weekend.

The breakfast was good. The server was attentive when asked for additional coffee cups and pancake batter. Rooms are always clean and beds are comfortable.

I think the entrance to the hotel could be marked better. You need to turn into a gas station and snake around a restaurant to get to the hotel. When coming off the interstate, you need to go through one light and make an immediate left.

We were in Dickson, TN visiting family for Christmas. It's definitely the nicer hotel in the area. We've stayed at 3 other hotels in Dickson and the Holiday Inn Express was by far the nicest, totally worth the price. The friendly and knowledgeable front desk staff helped with getting the best room to meet our needs upon arrival. The room was clean and well laid out, no lingering odors from cleaning fragrance. The bed was comfortable and the provided linens were cozy. There was a good selection at the hot breakfast, and check in/check out was easy. The location is tucked away behind O'Charley's restaurant and 2 gas stations/shopettes.

The check in process was exceptional the lady at the desk was very pleasant. She gave recommendations on where to eat at. She also put me and my other family members near each other on the same floor even though we booked our reservations online at different times. My room was clean. I stayed for 2 nights and the next day when I got back, I had fresh towels and my bed was made so great job to the cleaning crew also! If my son ever happens to do a tournament in Dickson again, we will stay at this location again!

The staff was very helpful and friendly despite my rowdy family (probably at least 20 different rooms all from the same wedding happening in town) The rooms were clean, AC was cold, the pool was open and the warm breakfast buffet was open which was a pleasant surprise since I am used to seeing the grab bag breakfasts for the past year due to COVID. Also has Telsa chargers in the parking lot for you electric car folks.

Minor things... my door stuck so it required a forced closure. And my parent's coffee machine didn't want to get the water hot but I didn't go to their room to make sure they were "using it properly".

Staff was friendly and accommodating. It was nice to have varity for breakfast, both hot and cold.

Getting to the hotel is a bit bothersome. It is not marked well to know where to turn. You have to go through a parking lot of a couple other businesses and there's a big pothole that needs fixed. Maybe a sign on the main road would help point people in the right direction.

Super clean. Easy check in. They let us check in early. Nice pool, but the water was a little chilly. Location was ok. Close to a couple good restaurants. One other thing, all the doors were interior.

Housekeeping started knocking on doors and calling loudly "HOUSEKEEPING". Also checking doors before 8 am. Thought they should know which rooms were already checked out.

This was the absolute BEST breakfast I’ve had at a hotel and the woman who works the breakfast is so sweet and personable! And the guest services desk was beyond amazing!

The heated pools were a little cold but it may have just been due to the weather.

This location underwent a complete renovation completed in Jan 2020. It has a clean modern design that is functional, spacious, and attractive. The room and bathroom designs are very smart with a ton of outlets (including two universal ports for international visitors and their devices ),USB charging ports, and dimmable LED desk lamp. The flat screen is large and wall mounted saving a lot of surface space. The built in furniture includes a bench that doubles as a luggage rack (genius!) Also beds were super comfy. I could go on and on!

Can’t think of a thing! I gave cleanliness a slightly less rating only because it was rainy while we were there so there were some tracks from peoples shoes in the lobby and elevator. Everything else was immaculate.

We booked and paid for 3 oeople, however there were only 2 washcloths and towels. We had to ask for linens to make up the sofa bed. We were exhausted and just wanted to get some sleep.it was not really a suite but the cost was for a suite.
